QUOTE(lloyd1030 @ May 19 2009, 10:57 PM) Where can we buy the memory in malaysia beside apple premium retailer? Kingston KTA-MB1066K2/4G, anyone using this module from kingston? i guess the best bet is to buy the above ram as it is listed as compatible by kingston, interested to know the price tho.

@ali86 oh ok.. i bought the same set as yours.
@hapa u can opt for cheapest shipping that is usd 15.99 but u have to wait atleast 2-3 weeks i guess or even more. i took fedex, it's only cost me extra usd 10 on top of current shipping cost (15.99 + 10++, estimated, cant remember exactly)
u can get it form nimrod323, he's doing bulk sale on ram.

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Oct 28 2009, 03:10 AM) i was considering mushkin vs kingston as well. from the link dr.is had posted, the 'non-apple model' mushkin was reported to have some compatibility issues with a mac. how about the kingston? i was more towards mushkin for two bad reasons. 1) mushkin packaging looks better, and 2) i've always bought kingston rams...never had an issue but im just bored staying with the brand haha find ram that is cheap and confirmed working.. that is all u need.
