just wanna confirm, the late 08 MBP is compatible with 8gb ddr3 memory rite? thinking of upgrading to 4gb but then feel like not worth it since no OS support anyway. so i wanna upgrade to 8gb once i get the 64-bit snow leopard.
what's the max RAM i can go? |

i don think it is worth it, now 4Gb ram cost like hell... and from i read, the 2.4 uMBP cant support more than 4GB.

You can get it from any hardware shop really. It's the small screw drivers that most people use to tighten their specs. Make sure you get the proper quality one. I broke the tip of my el cheapo set while opening my notebook halfway. |
