Hey people, i just got the old xbox 360 wanted a tft lcd monitor cause lcd tv is out of my range...the old 360 doesnt have a hdmi port only an a / v port. The cable has the 6 composite output i.e 2 white and red for audio, 1 yellow for vide, red green and blue for video...wanted to ask which LCD screen will best suite the 360s resolution and display HD and have the input connectors...but the cheaper the better

get a 21.5" LCD samsung with hdmi support. around rm500-600

Easy, get VGA cable for it It may not be digital, but it's still HD nonetheless. If you can't find one then use component cable and set it to HD display

Dell S2409W. Under 1k retail, if you're willing to bulk for it can go as low as rm7xx.

i will go for benq e2200hd or e2400hd.

AFAIK, both model doesnt have composite input. TS want a LCD with composite input.

That sounds like component.

Composite sucks.

hdmi> vga> component > s-video > composite

All so called old 360s comes with component cum composite cables.

have a fullHD tv i wanna enjoy 1080p but seems my 360 always give max 720p..

from this thread, i'm not clear.. shd i change the composite/component cables to something else?

how do i get better sounds as well since i only get those red/white cables only with the standard 360..

Well, I guess your box has no hdmi right? Use VGA cable la, it's the next best thing (I'm assuming your TV has VGA input).

For sound, you need to use the optical out to connect to your amp, cos you won't get any 5.1 sound from the red&white cables.

with component, you can still get to play games at 1080p. just set at the dashboard setting to 1080p for your display.

I saw rm35 hdmi cables at carrefour sri petaling. no comment on the quality though. carrefour brand also iirc.
