Hey guys.. i currently just oced my E6600(ES) to 3.2ghz. I have heard many E6600 users can get to 3.2ghz easily with stock vcore which is 1.3125. but sadly mine cant.. i can only reach 3.2ghz with 1.47v. tested with 12 hours prime95 very stable.. i dont know whether it's because of my mobo or i got a sucky chip.

The idle temp is 55C+, sorry for this, u will have to ignore the temp LOL.. because my thermal paste are all dried up already.. have to replace them soon...i'll do lapping on the HSF and also CPU. So i guess i'll have a lower temp by then. smile.gif ambient is room with fan only.

My Gmch and FSB termination are all stock.. everything is stock except for vcore, which is 1.47ghz for 3.2ghz.. my main concern is.. will i burn my proc if i go 24/7? lol... your opinions pls..

here's a screenie of some infos.

Voltage is abit high, optimal for 24/7 on 65nm's are anything less then 1.4v, if you want it to last more then a year or 2, not to mention other factors like pll volts, fsb voltages etc

Please use the pinned threads, thanks!
