You''ll notice alot of CSS rendering problem in IE because MS NEVER OBEY THE RULES! Stupid of them to think they can actually monopolize the market.

QUOTE(^Hobbes^ @ Jan 19 2009, 03:34 PM)
<div> not standard one meh ?

i tot both IE and FF aso support it?
*
Yes, but the style may not be supported fully if you're using padding or margin to centralized the div form.

That is why you can see lazy webmasters love to put this statement on their website:

"Best viewed with Internet Explorer 6.0+ with 1024x768 screen resolution" hmm.gif

The software that my company designed is totally optimized for IE up to the point that it is beyond salvageable...

When the senior developers asked me whether it is possible or not to port it to Firefox, I only have one simple answer:

"Sorry, but no."

Ya damn irritating one. My designer friend who has no idea bout DIV (He only know how to use Dreamweaver and slicing doh.gif ), and I use layering method in CSS to design my form, so sometimes rendering can be a pain when he asked, "Why this page not aligned to center?"

Grrr.... now I just put all the CSS hack already. But still sometimes will leave out some that I didn't noticed, then get the same old request by him again, "Please make the page centred..." sweat.gif
Style="text-align: center:"
Style="margin: 0 auto;"

I wish I can make use of Notepad or Notepad ++, but the system I'm handling now has too many classes and imported libraries... If I make use of Notepad to do, I will just be shortening my lifespan by another 10 years laugh.gif Hmm... isn't Wireshark for network packet sniffing?
