Hey guys,

I was surfing around and apparently in Mac Forums quite a number of users experienced this same problem - it takes a hard push on the HOME button to go back to the main menu. Are you guys experiencing this issue too? I realized that I need to press quite hard to go back to HOME on my machine.

Hmm. No. And it is brand new. I checked on a number of forums and apparently some people experience the same issue - their machines were brand new too.

Ah. That was what I was talking about. You need to press more than once to go back to the main menu.

Well, I was browsing through some forums and apparently they do have such a problem. Perhaps the HOME button is too tight and through usage it will ease up a little bit.

Why did you need to open a new thread? Is it just to get fast replies?

No, the casing isn't covering the HOME button.

Yep. An officially unlocked iPhone 3G. Did not do any restore and it was not like this on day one.

Apparently, they say if you reset the phone, the problem will not persist anymore. I have yet to try that method though.

Mmm ... If you have a lot of apps in the phone then restoration will be a painstaking process. My HOME button is okay now but earlier it was a little cuckoo ( my seller assured me that it was normal and was the same for his own machine too ). Hmm. I'll keep that option you mentioned in mind though.

(:
