NOOOOOO
DO NOT UPDATEEEEEEEEE
IT'S A TRAPPPPPPPP

so anyways.... i'll be the first request then, can i have one to check on the psp's condition?

if u use a sony ericsson phone, they have a service feature that lets u check the screen for:

dead pixels (red green blue strips & moving colours),

another one lets u check all the keys (if they are functional, a word depicting the button will appear on screen, with sound too!)

and maybe a little audio file to check the speakers as well.

usb port, and memory stick magic gate checker perhaps?
so.. could u chuck all those features into 1 handy homebrew?

if there is already a homebrew for all the above matters, my apologies.. and link please laugh.gif

I'm looking at it, and i've found some cool stuff. Here :

* Check if a battery is present
* Check if the battery is charging
* Get the status of the battery charging
* Check if the battery is low
* Get battery life as time
* Get temperature of the battery
* Get battery volt level
* Get CPU Frequency

Those are just some that i've managed to find, not yet code. Haven't even planned yet lol tongue.gif
*
do i really need an app to tell me if the battery is there? lol
charging... can be seen at the [power]s light
status... yea that might be useful
battery... low... ok ok
battery life as time might be a good plugin, make the time run right beside the clock
temperature... there's a temp sensor in the battery? maybe we can use our psps as thermometers.. .lol
volt level... might be fun
cpu freq... i have no idea why i might need that, but cool!

Benwong88, about the system software, do you just want the system software itself, or the build and targets?

screen screen... will be needing RGB picture(still) and black & white(still) picture and if the picture moves then even better...but not necessary for the moving colour.

awesome... but er.. i originally intended it to be a psp function & condition checker. as in, to check all the functions of the psp... to see if it's in good condition, to check the screen for dead pixles, i need the colour screens...

dude.. i got an awesome brainstorm... when you're making the calendar, include the lunar one too, oh and why not just... make the psp into a pda? yeah man~~

i mean... alarm on calendar, u know... a note or reminder & stuff on the date or day..

then our motto will be ... : " PSP; not just games & entertainment "
