suspension failure:
- NB inform that they aware of oil seal leaking for the previous model and have consult S&T regarding the failure. Negative response from S&T received, however NB currently testing new kayaba (local assembly) for future bike. - issues on soft absorber also has been forward to S&T and again negative feedback received as the korean claimed that the 'soft condition' was consider standard. NB testing new kayaba and will announce soon the result. - for bike under warranty, NB currently change to new absorber if requested by user and if the condition was valid under the warranty terms. - once the r&d completed (expected in February), perhaps good price would be presented to users. - for trial purpose, NB would like to work together with GGB to test the absorber in day to day basis and the user will work together by giving technical input on the performance of the absorber. - GGB will try to find suitable user to test and will contact R&D Manager (en. badrul) soon. https://www.facebook.com/groups/GGB.Bikers/ |

QUOTE(s2peMocls @ Jun 6 2013, 10:52 AM) I got my ride yesterday. 1st day already put in 100 km on it liao. hahahah. Never rode a clutch before so I spent about 20 minutes at the parking lot of the showroom practising. Good pickup, revvy engine. The transmission is damn tight though, so difficult to shift from 2nd to 3rd, and near impossible to put the bike in neutral when stopped. Speedo is optimistic by about 12 km/h. Almost dropped it twice, lol. Extremely tall bike, taller than I recalled. I'm 175 cm and I'm tip-toeing when stopped. Overall great ride. Will be doing a vlogging review on it. Tee hee. Speedo is optimistic by about 12 km/h mean the meter is 12+- from gps la??I've been shutting the engine with the kill switch, perhaps I should use the key from now on. izzit? |

QUOTE(s2peMocls @ Jun 6 2013, 11:10 AM) Yup. When I go 100 km/h on the speedo, My GPS is show around 88 to 88.9 km/h (I used Garmin, it fluctuates a bit) oo.. i tot blade speedo is accurate..One other thing I did was marked the throttle grip with a marker to indicate half open throttle because the manual said half throttle for first 800 kms. But I let the RPM go way to up 9000 that mean my 120km/h corner is actually 100km/h lo.. and i tot i am badass |

QUOTE(s2peMocls @ Jun 6 2013, 11:21 AM) Naked. My mount is suction type, so confirm can use on the fuel tank also (as long as you didn't polish it). I'm getting one that is a handlebar clamp so I can put both the GPS and powerbank together, then I can use the suction cup mounting for the helmet cam. nice.. thanks for the infoIf you're using the R then I guess you can't use a handlebar mount. Oh yeah, also, I tie the device with a nylon string (strong and light, and will break at 4-8 lbs of stress so won't cut your flesh) to the left grip so if the vibration or wind dislodge it, it'll still be safe. |
