lol..pc multimedia console wat

I vote X360 even tho' the D-pad sux. To overcome the D-pad problem, I hv to buy Saitek P3200 (for PC and X360) from PA. This controller is just perfect for fighting games, this is what X360 controller should be!.
Other alternative is Saitek Cyborg (better).

Personally, i dont like to play games with mouse and keyboards. For me, its not the way to play games. Games shouldnt be played using keyboards and mouse at the first place

almsot every genre is possible without using a mouse n keyboard except mmorpg...
there is jz too many keys to bind...

Yeah you are right. MMORPG or RPGs, are barely playable on any consoles, especially the XBOX360s and PS3. Look at how C&C fails badly on those consoles. Its just hard to control. Keyboard and mouse is a must for those games.

actually RPGs are ok on console if they are not real time (some like FF series etc) unlike MMORPGs especially pvp based...
as for RTS, its possible on the console but i would prefer using a mouse/keybaord for the hotkeys etc especially those micro intensive RTS (war3, DoW, ra3)...
i used to play RTS back then on the ps1 (red alert, dune etc) since i dun have a capable pc back then...

I havent been able to update myself with latest pc games. My personal computer is not up to specifications to render next gen games. Thats why i couldnt be bothered to play pc games since i was small. The last pc game that i have bought was FIFA95 :(

that's the good thinga bout a console, u dun need to worry about the requirements...

i love console controller for: -
- driving (especially for burnout series
- fighting
- platforming
- sports
- j-rpgs

For fighting, i dont think controllers is a good option. HORI sticks are always better in arcade fighting games such as Tekken or Street Fighter series.

i somehw prefer a usual controller since i'll have better control (provided its not those fighting games with crazy input jz to do a move)

Games like street fighter is better off using those HORI sticks seriously. You need them to perform super combos, like 15hit combo KO.

I'm a PS fanboy and already get used to PS controllers. I do think that Sony should change the controller design. It's been the same since PS1!!

I thought that with the new PS3 they would change the fact that DS2 is worthless and breaks easily, but then they still stick to the same old design and came out with sixaxis DS3. Maybe they're saving cost by using same old molds. uhuuhu.

Most of the ppl here are voting for 360 controllers. Is there 360 lookalike controllers for PS3?

i think the xbox controller is kinda heavy but the RT seems like a trigger very cool .

the ps3 sixaxis . i try it . its kinda light . but seems missing something .

i think xbox360 controller is better than ps3 controller.

360 pad is the next good thing since Sega Saturn pad IMO
