i was thinking of this bird but felt it would be kinda sad if it cannot fly, so thought of converting my balcony to a mini aviary.....can't fly much but i guess it is ok?
Many people keep their birds in cages for life. If you could convert your balcony into a small aviary, it would be like a heaven for the bird. This is definitely much much better than keeping the bird in a cage.

that's kinda sad for the pets. if only can litter train them then can let them fly in the house
You can't keep an eagle in Malaysia. Someone rescued one here recently. The eagle got tangled in a tree. This guy climbed 20ft high up the tree to bring the eagle down. The eagle is staying with him now.

This is mine (well, mostly my mom's pet, I do provide food/water/affectionate)

Taken 2 years ago, looks about the same. Wish had the time to take it out to train etc., it gets very grouchy staying in the cage (cage is quite tall, it has plenty of room to go up/down) and at times we let it out. Brilliant imitator of sounds/voices, absolutely amazing. Destroys parrot-grade toys in days.
