me too me too..having the same problem with mummra..and my car color is black..classic beetle..wat is the price of this product??
*
It will help to reduce further damage done on your car paint. PM me your car details and we will talk more about it. My friend's car is about 2yrs old and he still proceed to get it done to make sure his car will always be shiny and no need of repaint for at least another 3-5yrs.

does it require us to go back after coating? When? After 3 years? For what? Maintenance?
*
you are advised to go back once for cleaning and maintenance after 6-12months. so your coating would last longer. I'd advise to go back and do it before every CNY. smile.gif

chris_x after done the teflon coating, how slippery of that coating? is it like the coating as in the teflon frying pan?
*
It's better, you can observe the difference especially when you come back from the rain. you could see tablets of rain on the surface of your car.

Cleaning is certainly at ease. The car shines everytime after washing with just shampoo. I'm happy with it.

chris... hows the PPS on ur car?
still shiny?
any feedback?
*
Satisfied with it. If there's a chance, let's compare a PPS NHC and an undone NHC of the same color. smile.gif

Who owns a PMM NHC here and yet to do his PPS?

I suggest you ask Raymond on this.
You can always quote Chris so that you can get a discount.
Since Chris is prolly away, you can always PM me for the details.
I think the Savvy should be cheaper, maybe RM400 after disc. (my guesstimation)
*
It's abt RM480 b4 the discount. So you can do the math. smile.gif

Any effect on paint after 3 years of warranty? would it still remain the same shining?
wat if after that i din go back for every 6 mth maintenance? would the protection layer melt and damage the paint? e.g white melting mark or bla bla bla?
*
I've read feedback from owners who had it back in 2005, they still say it is good till now. But I am sure the results vary from case to case depend how u maintain/take care of your car.

QUOTE(briggs86 @ Apr 4 2009, 05:41 PM)
currently i am looking for paint  Protection for my ride  too ... and currently market got  PPS teflone or glare glassplexin.... any different between this 2 brand ? thanks.....
*
PPS teflon is a dupont invented chemical that can resist high temperature,
chemical that is non-wet and non stick material and is also very slippery in
its nature. It is used to manufacture non stick cooking wares and is a must
content in a lot of the industrial products that need to withstand a high
temperature and chemicals. Once it is bonded to the paint by way of +-
method at ambience temperature it will protect paint from damage by the uv
and all other enviromental hazards for years. A copy of the outstanding
properties of teflon obtained from dupont website is attached for your
reference.

Whereas, Glassplexin I understand is formulated from glass, a compound that
is contain in all the polishing compounds. The compound is not slippery and
smooth and the reason why they have to apply an additional layer of, probably
wax, after the treatment to give the smoothness on the paint and make it
water repelling and since wax does not last it has to be re-wax every 1 - 2
months as mentioned in its product write-up (see underlined in red) a copy
of which is attached for your reference.

Guys, what about diamondbrite?

That's another level of coating. Can't compare. Just like comparing proton and BMW.

PPS is a value for money coating for your new/old car. It's more affordable.

Yes, no more wax needed. The car will maintain a waxy look.
