Hello, I am not sure if this is the correct place I should post.

I have my G900 for 6 months and I had decided to update my phone. I used SEUS and I think that is the only way to update.

However, when the installation reached roughly about 95%, suddenly the error occurred, saying that my battery was not fully charge which I did. The next thing I know, my phone cannot be started and detected by SEUS anymore.

So I decided to go 'technical'. I have check my phone using XS++ 3.1 and I noticed that my phone's GDFS cannot be opened. As the result, all the info were mostly blank or N/A..

What should I do? Should I just pass back to the shop for warranty ? It will take about 2 weeks to get back my phone..

i am using AP. What I read so far, when SEUS gives you error at 90% ++, it corrupts your phone's GDFS. That's what I am encountering now.

AP shouldnt take that long. last time my bro's phone crashed and all that stuff sent to the store they got the phone back in 4 days. plus if you can ask for a phone to borrow from the shop. most shops will have a loan phone.

Thanks for your 2 cents.

By the way, is anyone knows how to flash this model?

Hi, I have posted my phone problem here before and here's the result.

My phone has been 'repairing' since May 09. What the guy told me :

1. My warranty has been voided because I dropped the phone which I didn't.
2. They unable to settle my phone as they couldn't flash it.
3. They said that it is the board failure. To repair it, it costs about RM500~RM700.
4. The phone is now still at the shop.

My phone couldn't start after SEUS update, which was failed at 90++% and my phone is 6 month old only...

Is anyone out there can give me some further advices?

Thanks.

AP set? by which AP provider?
IMO, your phone is more like bricked set.
Try to claim back yr phone and ask for another service center to help you settle for a small amount of cost.

Hi Forgotten,

The service center you are talking about as in directly to SE Service Center or another phone shop?

Yes, it is an AP set.

Thanks

aw man. another ap set crash. thats why i hate ap sets. i never trust the shop always say its the customers fault. blehhhhh. well try take your phone back and bring it to another store. and then if thats also expensive bring it to sony service center hopefully it will be cheaper hmm.gif who knows. otherwise you could sell it online or something to someone willing to fix it. last time on ebay i saw a bunch of people selling broken phones hmm.gif strange... good luck bro. sorry to hear that about your phone.

I live in Section 17, PJ. Anyone can recommend which phone shop is good enough ?

And thanks alot for the tips. They helped me alot. smile.gif
