i normally use my phone 3yr min before changing. so i might be here for a while. unless the SE Android is really irresistible.

what servicr you refering to? warranty claim or teaching you how to use the phone?

if you want warranty claim, go direct to SE. giving it to yur seller, wil be longer. unless mobility is an issue, going back to SE is best.

i hav never buy 2 phone from the same seller before. Somehow, MY phone seller don't gv me a good impression. there is also a price to pay. You walk into those bigger chain store, your phone may cost more. chicken and egg situation.

If you can manage all those update, read manual... you sud be fine on your own. anything goes worng, then go back to SE. Your seller will eventually go back to SE for servicing.

nope update since 19 Nov. that's my last update. i run the update again last week but no new update reported.

G700 i think is not position correctly. Add a little more you get more function in G900.

G900 pit against 5800xm? though both are touch screen i kinda look @ it differently. G900 is more business phone while 5800xm is of the Walkman rival. I do like the 5800xm design. For a start, sumthing hip, affordable and official to rival iPhone.

guy... how many apps do you guy download and install in your G900 say... the past 3 mths? I have try google map, a 3rd party PIM, expense tracker and a dictionary. That's 4 since i bought my phone.

just a stat i read this morning. Since Apple open up the iPhone apps to 3rd party couple of months ago, an average user hv download 15 apps and some Enterprise software company have or developing apps for iPhone.

If SE is not careful, SE business phone will be at the losing end soon.

I got the Oxford dictionary install. come in 2 part, the engine and dictionary database. Its english - english dict. hardly use it.

you can add yur own word in the T9 dict. i think u goto more - test otion - Spell Word or My word. I dont encourage this but i add some profanity in my dict cuz sumtime i nid to marah orang. again, I DO NOT ENCOURAGE THIS KINDA BEHAVIOUR.

That's mine too. I just check last week and there is not update. Anyway, you can just run the update. As per instruction, if your phone have problem, updating the software may help. Just whack it oni la... it'll take about 1-1.5 hr of your life (depending on your internet speed).

& dun 4get to backup b4 update.

good thing dun come cheap and when its cheap, be careful.

being a non-techie and all, i wanna ask u guy. why is dis G900 is not very customizable? Is it bcos os Symbian or UIQ or SE plain lazy?

for instance, i can change those icon in the main menu. I try installing those icon pack too but at the end of the installation, i'll get "installation aborted". geram la.

I move the sis file to my Gee and install from the phone, i get error "This software is already installed on this phone".

i uses the Default standby apps which is all those scrolling panel. When i hit the main menu, i see those icon. Those icon gua mau tukar.

spend like 10min trying to get the right position to charge my phone. That fast-port thing is really problem. all 4 of my SE phone give me the same headache. Good thing the EU have adopted mini USB as std charging interface for European. Hopefully, we get the USB too.
