just press that combination in the main standby screen (when your screen is in the main menu with the wallpaper and clock showing the time), press that combination and the service menu will come up.
*
I can go in service menu, just that i can't seem to find the "Call Time" thingie.. as i used to see on my other SE phones to find out whether the phone has been used or not..

So.. its there such option in service menu in g900?..

mine doesnt show in service menu either.
in the Calls menu there, got Total call info, it does show total incoming n outgoin time...but it should be reset-able so not that reliable as vendor can reset it n u think it's new, in a way. if thats what ur asking
*
Weird... i didnt noticed theres "total call" info in there... hmmmz..

Its under which category in g900?..

I see theres 3 categories :-
--------------------------------
Service information
Service test
Format Phone memory

Thats all...

Coz the last i heard that status can't be reset in the phone, but im sure it can be done, but normally the seller didn't bother doing there.. too much trouble.. thats the last i heard.

Oh that one.. lol... that one of course can reset loh.. tongue.gif

QUOTE(~~5ive~~ @ Feb 8 2009, 01:32 AM)
I believe G900 dont have that feature, if got perhaps at other place. Coz from my friends other SE phone, W910, Service menu>service test>call timer. But G900 dont have call timer at there. Anyway, i dont think it helps a lot since call timer is mean for recording the call time. If heavy user then will have high call time, but low usage will shown a little bit even used for 1 year.
*
Well, the thing its, if a brand new phone, it call timer would be "00:00:00" loh... lol... im refering to brand new phone ler.. not 2nd-hand.. lol... u think like buying 2nd-hand car.. check mileage.. lol...

Btw, its my phone's firmware latest version?..

Anyways, TS shld post the latest firmwares on the 1st post for references.

Yea i know this.
But what i feel is it is not that infomative as a 1year old phone may have the same call timer with the 1month old phone. Afterall, it judge based on call, not practically the used period. However, it is a good method to differentiate  whether the phone is brand new or used.  icon_rolleyes.gif

HEh.. yea..

Btw, any recommended sites to download its themes?.. wink.gif

Weird that my phone doesn't come with additional themes.. hmmmmz..

Hey g900 peeps!,

I noticed my g900 batt cover has those "creak" sound when press upon.. does y'all have the same prob?.. it kinda annoyed me... feels flimsy... reminded me of my K750i's batt cover oso like tat... had to put some papers to fill the batt cover's space.. tongue.gif

Wow.. pretty fast batt level down.. most probably practically whole day i've been installing games, trying out games, taking pictures, transferring files thru bluetooth, testing out the music/mp3s, videocalls, mms and etc... heh

Btw, i can't seem to get into the internet (i used the maxis.com.my auto settings)... any ideas peeps?.. i most probably missing something there..

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Feb 8 2009, 01:58 PM)
Btw is there any crystal case for G900, anybody got pics of it and how much does it cost ?
*
My phone comes with crystalcase, i'll post up a snapshot as soon as i can.

I don't really use it tho, coz the thickness of the crystalcase blocks the side buttons, unless u use the stylus.

Cheers smile.gif

Err.. peeps.. as i asked earlier.. do anyone noticed the battery cover does the "creaks" sound when press on?.. feels flimsy.. reminds me of my old K750i.. as the batt cover doesn't fit it tight properly.

And ohyah, whats the difference in the "TRANSITION" effect?.. weird i don't see the difference, as i heard its recommend to turn it off as it speed up things.

Im kinda confused abt Opera Mobile and Opera Mini... i downloaded Opera Mini works nicely, and what does Opera Mobile for?.. izzit the default/built-in browser its actually Opera Mini?...

Paiseh noob with symbian phone here.. 1st time having a symbian phone.. heee blush.gif

QUOTE(panda-man @ Feb 8 2009, 10:24 PM)
is it activated? my bro had the same problem. but then he called maxis and apparently it was simply not activated. they said it might be a glitch that reset the setting. so just call and make sure.
*
w00t!.. finally it works!.. lol

All bcoz the "Preferred" connection must be set... ish... si maxis site didn't mentioned that (i think.. tongue.gif).

Anyways, all in working order liaoz wink.gif

Thanks for the replies anyways biggrin.gif

@CyberKewl & redscorpion :-
I see... hopefully upcoming coreplayer will be more compatible/efficient.

I guess i'll stick to old-fashion mp4 converter tongue.gif

Anyways, heres are my crystalcase and slide-in pouch :-

And in all.. i prefer the pouch, altho u can't see the lcdscreen, but imo its more shock-resistance since the pouch its pretty padded inside.

Your slide in pouch buy at where?
Will it tight?
When i want to take out, the stylus will be taken out before the phone does doh.gif
*
Gotten it at Eaglecom (ss2/pj), but i seen ppl sell it online, im sure its a pretty common product.

I gotta say, its very tight fit and it has a pull-tab (like the one for ide-cable if ur into pc..heh) in the pouch, so when u pull (pull-tab) it pushes yer phone put halfway, so that u can easier to take out from the tight fitting.

Attached Image
As u can see above, theres a pull-thingie which i referred as pull-tab wink.gif

Ya i know that. I purchase from Viravira at LYN but since G900 out of stock then i take E66 1 and based on dimension it is similar. But when im using, although the pull tab push my G900 out, but it is still very tight to take out and i will tercabut the stylus (9 in 10times). I try before....Unless i take out will care, slow and make sure my hand not nearby the stylus doh.gif

Perhaps E66 pouch cant be used for G900 although the dimension is similar. I tried that pouch with sister E66 and it works great.....
*
lol.. well, no problems with the stylus here.
