Anybody know the best place to buy G900 (cheapest) AP ? Also is there a CSL set, if so how much ?

Ok, I just opened up a thread with WTB..hopefully get PM..haha..anyway i have some questions about this phone, some say its slow in terms of the UI and the camera, also heard the pics taken are not that good even with stabilizer, are all these true ?

I think i'll go and try in the shop first and see how "slow" it is.

Is it ok & worth buy for 2nd hand Ori G900 for RM 950 (used approx 1 month +) ?

Hmm..yeah 950 can buy new ap but not ori..plus ori can at least go to any SE center to repair/claim warranty...new ori is 1.4 k isnt it not 1.2-1.3 as i look around the forum pricing.

Yep ori from thorus. Color is dark brown. My view is the phone is pretty good. In terms of speed, its slow but that's normal cos its UIQ. Camera is alright, not the best but decent enough. Havent fully explored the phone, my wife and myself loved the touch screen

yeah but the thread advertised 1100, but seller was willing to let go for 950

One question, i transferred an file to my wife's phone from my w660 thru bluetooth, it goes to messaging, any way i can move it to some other place like documents, video (in the file manager area), etc?

i face 1 other issue - copying images from the phone memory to my pc takes very long thru phone mode..usb mode cant copy..is this normal ?

I tried twice already..also no chinese language support, how to add it in ? I read need to update fw to some other region, other than that got other way ? My wife kinda upset this not like other SE phone got built in chinese support for SMS (most important)

Erm how to check ?

But the manual shows like we can key in chinese words ? Very strange.

Added on February 3, 2009, 7:14 amIt took me like more than 2 minutes just to copy 1 image file, then when I selected a few images to copy & paste, it took few mins (about 5-10) before the windows copy animation came up. That's from phone memory to hard drive, I have not tried from M2 yet.

As for changing CDA the link, I've seen it but noticed its rather risky...don't wanna make a brick out of the phone.

Added on February 3, 2009, 9:54 amCalled Amcorp Mall Ericserve. They said for Ori, no charge, takes 2 hours to kao tim as long as bring warranty card and receipt. Good news so far. Will let u guys know by this weekend after send the phone if ok or not
