maybe that is the limitation for symbian UIQ...not sure..
btw, you cannot compare G900 with other SE phones since G900 running Symbian UIQ..

pros and cons that i noticed

- f480 doesnt have wifi while g900i does
- f480 has 230mb internal memory while g900i only 160mb but this is insignificant because most people use memory card today
- im assuming f480's camera is better because it has the face detection feature
- f480 doesnt have keypad while g900i does

for me, ill choose g900i anytime over that f480 because i need wifi lol rolleyes.gif

slow? that depends on your connection strength la. if the area's connection is good then its fast

of course g900i can open any website including msn and facebook. or u are talking about msn messenger and facebook messenger?

the msn messenger or yahoo messenger can be used with some 3rd party apps like fring and ebuddy but the facebook messenger im not sure. i didnt test it

lol hannah is super delicious. but she's getting old already.. sweat.gif

i think im a fan boy of sony ericsson. from the very first time i started using a handphone it was nokia all along until the nokia n70 let me down. i had to keep changing the battery once a month. after that, my friend recommended my to try sony ericsson so i gave it a try for the very first time. it was w810i if im not mistaken. and the battery life was damn superb. so after that, i never use nokia until this 5800xm. it has been 3 years since my last usage of nokia's products so i hope they are improved and this 5800xm wont disappoint me again

yea tl;dr lol

@.@ ... u guys are really really active hor??

@Cyberkewl, last time i used McAfee for AV before ... but it wasn't so useful for me as I surf only safe sites smile.gif And what LineAge said its true... that depends on the interpreter which had installed in yr phone.. lets say sis and java file... it wil of cos be infected smile.gif

Hmm.. i always kinda missed the clock on the top right hand corner... i know its kinda tedious when u hav to exit all apps juz to check out the time sad.gif

@5ive
Yeah, i received the number long time ago edi... i think on the next day after i swapped phone with yrs... smile.gif Thanks alot ya and sorry for forgetting to inform u smile.gif

@ f480 v g900

i think the relevant consideration is whether u need keypad or not . i dont use wifi often as ive a connected laptop but with wifi ability is more 'complete' though not a necessity and is useful if ur outside.

depend on what u use it for also

idk the operating of F480 but the g900 is highly functional (features) on top of options (due to uiq3 platform), comprising third party software. E.g. now i can on/off iphonelock or use the orgiinal g900 inndependent keylock...theyr both great, daily expense, among other apps.

but dont expect u can substitute a 12" notebook with a 2.4" g900 e.g. msexcel, surfing, etc is painful !

battery wise, im very sure the G900 lasts longer 2.4" on 950mh v 2.8 on 1000mh.

if multimedia, why don u consider the nokia xm. but i still feel speed sms still best wit keypad. use notebook/netbook to email la...for bizmen sure can afford that lol

ive read somewhere that even though how much apps running in the task manager, it wont consume the battery. not sure if the source is correct or not

just read some basic information only now. need to use some software so that i can install unsigned apps too. just like g900i. havent check what apps available though. hoping that there are interesting apps to be installed later. just found few only now. garmin, some games using motion sensor

edit : owh forgot another two questions. of course i miss my ex g900i. and im using my second phone z310i. so i dont use the second number lah
