QUOTE(chaiyeen @ May 10 2009, 10:21 PM) Hi all G900 users... I'm interested in getting a G900 for myself but what's stopping me is the comment from others about its camera and sound quality. What do you think about it? And is there any problem in this handset, eg lag, hang, blackout and all? Thanks Refer to 1st page, we have answers for your questions. BTW anyone of you guys are using PC suite 4.0 for your G900?. Its seems its not working on my phone.

AP set. seems got many problems. we are assuming dealers are selling recon sets. its better to buy 2nd hand AP set probably. PC suite 4.0 seems to have more function than the other version that includes message/sms/mms sync, more managable file transfer etc etc.

Hi bros,
I hv been owning this phone a Sony Ericsson G900 for half a year now. I hv this problem that i never had the time to ask.
I use phonebook feature a lot. It is very important for me. The problems i have is that, some of the contacts will go into another section of the memory. That means i have to "search" for it by going to the "View Folder" and select either "All phone contacts" Or "Sim".
I find this very very annoying as i need to use the phone book every time.
And another thing is that, i prefer the contacts to be completely stored into Sim card rather than the phone. How can i do this?
I am a long time user of Nokia phones with straight simple to use phone book and this is the first time i own a Sony Ericsson phone and its giving me a headache...(phone book feature only).

what do you mean "go into another section of the memory"?
- you mean it saves into the memory and sometimes it saves to sim card?
well if you wanna send your contacts to the sim card. then you can just mark each contact and click more>>add to>>SIM
but in your sim card you will have limited space. and also it does not store things other than name and number. if i remember correctly.

i dont think its possible. all the new phones allow so much information to be stored under each contact. all of which cant be stored on the sim cards. so most phones default is set to save straight onto phone memory.
so you have to save to phone first then transfer across to your sim from there.

I like SE phone contacts back up feature so much!! It just saves into one file while NOKIA.. saves each contact individually o.O ... cannot mark all and send all once to another phone.. unlike SE... hmmm really there're pros and cons in nokia and SE...

yeah there are always improvements to be made. maybe there are issues of patents and that they cannot use certain things. one of my favorites was my old O2 phone on windows mobile. you just start typing any phone number and it will try to match it to any phone numbers saved in your phone. so cool.

Any idea on how to export the sms to our computer so we can read from the computer? What's the current version right now? My phone seems having some problem. I need to charge every day by now since the second day the battery are half and it drains so fast like a water pipe. Any idea how to solve this?

Any idea how to solve this? u can use MyExplorer.. google for it... it will then transfer all yr sms (can backup also) so that u can clear yr sms inbox in yr phone... save space.. and secondly, g900 is kinda well known for fast draining battery thingy.. try to reduce yr brightness, turn yr bluetooth off if its nt using .. wifi also... and see the differences btw, yr nickname sounds familiar... like my friend's name...
