I was thinking of buying a PSP from Amazon.com, does it seems to be safe? Anyone of you knows the current market price for PSP? Will it be cheaper if I purchase online?

Purchasing it from the amazon.com is safe cause my cousin bought some stuff from amazon.com too and arrived safely to the alocated address. I personally do not recommand you to buy your psp there if you're planning to play dl games... nod.gif as for price wise...direct conversion might be cheaper by few hundred bucks but that havent include the shipment fees and all those macam2 fees to reach your place.. whistling.gif So buying psp locally wud be a wiser move.... tongue.gif furthermore the price that local game shop in LYN forum offer now is not too pricey cause most of em comes with free gifts... thumbup.gif

wow.. i think it would be wiser if u buy locally..
buy from international sites is just like buy a new item without a warranty. better buy a second hand item.

If ur delivery address is in Malaysia then forget bout it. They wont ship. Amazon only ships books, cd, dvd, bluray to Malaysia. The most dissapointing being not able to even buy games from them. mad.gif

Considering all the costs you're going to pay (shipping, delivery, some other stuff), why not just buy it local?

Can buy from Amazon. But if you don't have people in the US to forward it to you, be prepared to pay more because you have to use vPost. Amazon will not send electronics directly to Malaysia. eBay is a worthy alternative, once you find a seller that's willing to ship to Malaysia. I personally use NCSX tho. A bit more expensive, but at least they ship to Malaysia straight. Comes up to a bit lesser than Amazon + vPost.

I agree with the others tho. Unless you have a really good reason to own a US PSP (i.e. desperately need Region-1 UMD Video support and support for some region-locked US EA games), buying locally can be a bit cheaper. Plus, you can check out the console before buying.

I change my tune about owning US PSP. Stupid Asian PSP no "Extras" even after FW update to 6.20. Confirmed with Sony that the feature is not enabled if install FW 6.20 on Asian PSP. They will only make FW enable it on Asian PSP once the comic reader is launched in Asia, which they don't have a launch date yet, and by the time they launch the function the free Transformers comic promo would most likely be long over. cry.gif

And I take back what I said earlier about buying locally being cheaper. I recalculated. It's roughly the same after tax, duty and vPost.

*grumble* *grumble* pay more *grumble* *grumble* less features. mad.gif vmad.gif
