my dog is infested with seed ticks how do i get rid of them once and for all     

Are you using frontline spray or frontline spot on? Frontline spray is supposed to kill ticks you managed to spray on but it is difficult to kill ticks not directly sprayed on and of course not possible to kill ticks not attached to the dog's body. As for frontline spot on it is a tube form where you apply it near the neck of your dog and it should kill all ticks attached to the dog's body. Spray will wears off overtime and after bath, spot on will remains effective around 1 month if you read and follow instructions on the labels.

Personally, I prefer frontline spot on Combo. I'm not sure whether the market still selling frontline spot on "without combo" but last time it used to have frontline spot on & frontline spot on combo. From my understanding, frontline combo will kill both the ticks + the eggs hence more effective compared to non combo which the egg might hatch later.

Do take note that the main issue will be the ticks around your house. Worst if they have nest inside your house. If that's the case, you will need to constantly apply tick prevention products on your dog until you no longer find any tick on your dog for some time. At the same time, I strongly recommend you to search around your house for their nest if you noticed that the problem is getting worst even with tick prevention products applied on your dog after a month.
