her weight went up to 3.5kg after spaying a few months ago, now should be around 4kg... the weigh at the vet should be accurate. the bum looks bouncy but the ribs are still able to be felt though.
notice the abdomen part? ![]() This post has been edited by anykti: Jul 19 2013, 08:10 AM |

I do feel she's much more adorable now. I can still feel her ribs easily with a layer or flesh.

QUOTE(vickywoon @ Aug 18 2013, 03:50 PM) Hey! Her body part looks really white! i had let my baby girl tried health and shine too. Based on research 93% of 600 owner Maltese owners reported that they did have a tear staining problem with their Maltese. yea her body can be quite white, just now not much time to clean her face before going to work, further more she loves to bite her chew-able toys so she can have quite a lot of saliva, but i can really see the stains are much lighter now.My baby girl's tear stain looks really serious last time! but i gotta clean it every morning when i woke up and also once before i sleep. Wiping her mouth after eating. Now she really looks better than last time. |

QUOTE(unknownhammie @ Oct 18 2013, 05:27 AM) My 2 year old maltese afraid of puppy .. Golden Retriver and Husky.. Keep growl at both of them... lol QUOTE(White Palace @ Oct 20 2013, 10:14 PM) I think Maltese are fearless. My Augustine chases larger dogs around to play with her. So I think you should just sternly tell your 2 year old to stop growling. |

as i've replied u thru ur pm, i'd advise against purchasing from breeders or shops though.
commercial and even home breeding can have possible pet cruelty. i adopted August from a pet shop after she was unwanted. hope u will opt to adopt and not purchase from breeders, i could inform u if there's any news of maltese for adoption. |

hello icechiller555 & david copperfield,
my augustine was able to handle the tear stains with "Health & Shine" in powder form, just add into their meals daily. don't wipe the stains cos it only spreads. |

I bought from a pet shop in kota kemuning. They're quite honest to customers with the products they sell. It doesn't have antibiotics. It's natural and has kelp which is good for them. Just sprinkle about quarter teaspoon per day to their meals, more if the stains are serious. It's no problem for long term consumption. She's still eating it, just at lower amount now. You'll have to find a pet shop to recommend puppy food, see if you have any trusted ones.

being a parent to another adopted maltese furkid a couple of weeks ago from an irresponsible pet owner.
insufficiently fed, significantly malnutritioned and totally not vaccinated. some bastard groomer thinks he's so cool owning 9 pets but never took any responsibility as a furkid parent. meet amos (on the left) my newly adopted with augustine (on the right) my first adopted furkid.
