I went to FLUFF yesterday for the 1st time after having a hard time to find the way to NZX.
Anyway, the shop is great. its like another hotel for dogs...
the dogs is free to running around in the shop.
I feel like to have a high tea and plying with the dogs if its possible.
Haha... the environment is so nice and sweet.

haha... i kept dogs ... but is the mongrels that i adopted from my neighbours...
And i love Maltese! Once i graduate and afford to get one, i sure get one maltese for myself! ^^

well how old is ur lil boi boi/girl girl ? Maltese is a member of the toy class, usually weighing between 1.5kg until 4kg+,Maltese dont have undercoat like like shit zhu do, it will lose hair the way humans do instead of shedding like most dogs.Perhaps the most interesting and unique characteristic of the breed is its color-changing nose.The nose can change from coal black to a light brownish color or even pink depending on the amount of sunlight the animal is exposed to.The nose of a female Maltese can change color when she goes on heat to. If u stay at apartment maltese is a good option for it and Maltese are very smart. Their high intellect makes them easy to train and quick at picking up new tricks.They generally good natured and playful, they might not do well with small children or strangers. They are very territorial and likely to be protective of the family unit.

If you plan to get a maltese, you can slowly intro them... supervice them and dun let them be alone when newcomer just arrived.. once u see they're getting then should be okay. As far as I know, maltese don't really have a problem getting along with other dogs

As for the hair maintenance, it's not hard as long as u know how to take care. Basically what u need is to find a perfect and good shampoo to boost up the white color fur as well as some other conditioner and supplement to made the fur looks superbly perfect as in, smooth, white and also not dry and also groom daily to make sure there is no tangle on the fur.

this has been answer by Jenny aka angelgurl_nee, she had a male shih tzu as well and she just adopted male maltese and u can see from her video that both of them seems to be getting well together

hi there...cool thread u guys have here...lately i quite headache with my puppy..and wound like to seek help from all dogs owners here...i bought a maltepoo (maltese mix poodle), female about 1 mth ago (now 9wks old), and she is staying with me in a apartment..she is no doubt a fast learner as she can poo & pee on the pads which places in the toilet, listen to instructions like sit & stay..

BUT...the headache is...

she has a habit to bite my hand( fingers) whenever i touch her , even when combing her fur, i also let her bite my hands then continue to comb...and also like to bit my leg

EVEN..

spoiled my hp charger wires, modem adaptor wires when sleeping time...(now i place all on the table, she cant reach the top)

i think her mouth is very itchy, but i got her many soft toys already..

As a conclusion, i tried many methods like use slipper to beat her back (bearable by her ) but she even bite me more painful...

so...u guys have any solution for this???
