Hi All,

Wow it's been quite a while since I've logged into the forum. Hope everyone is well. Very sorry to hear about your loss Andy. I've been through the same with my other dog.

Was wondering if anyone here has a Male who would like to breed with my little Maltese gal. PM me please.

I think the price wouldn't be much different, frontline supplier is providing rather low profit margin for retailers so there wouldn't be much discount.

Hi Guys,

Do anyone know where could I adopt a maltese puppy? I know it would be real hard. I have 2 poodles (female) and would love to have 1 maltese in the family.

Thanks guys.

The chance is really slim, perhaps you can shed more lights about your reason of adoptions, your current stories of raising your poodles, how do you plan to house the new member etc.

Dear Maltese Owners,

Need your advice. Which dog food is your Maltese taking currently? Mine is quite sensitive to many brands, and those that didnt upset her stomach gave her tear stains. She was on Go! Natural Salmon for the longest time ever and was triving with this diet. However, Go! is no longer imported now and I'm very worried about her!

Here're the other brands that I have fed her (but they did not agree with her):
- Canidae ALS: Good for a couple of months, then gave her diarrhea and skin allergies
- Orijen 6 Fish: Cleared up her allergies but gave her TERRIBLE tear stains, lots of gas, soft stools and finally, diarrhea
- Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream: Gave her quite bad tear stains and stinky poo
- Wishbone Ocean: Made her threw up many times - rushed her to the vet @.@
- Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet Sweet Potato and Fish - currently on this one. Best of the lot but still gave her rather bad tear stains.

Have you tried any tear stain solution to solve the tear stain problem?

I used Health N Shine and it worked pretty well.

I would suggest to solve the tear stain problem first, and then try out which dog food brand works best for your Maltese.

Yes I went through 2 bottles of Health and Shine - it didn't help with the tear staining unfortunately sad.gif I have also tried tear stain solutions, they didn't work as well >.< So i'm quite inclined to believe that her tear staining is due her food as it came back right after i stopped Go! Natural.

Have you tried feeding barf diets? If various brands of kibbles doesn't seem to suit your dog, you might want to give barf diet a try.

being a parent to another adopted maltese furkid a couple of weeks ago from an irresponsible pet owner.
insufficiently fed, significantly malnutritioned and totally not vaccinated.
some bastard groomer thinks he's so cool owning 9 pets but never took any responsibility as a furkid parent.

meet amos (on the left) my newly adopted with augustine (on the right) my first adopted furkid.
