he like to bite my hand and leg, now i keep on training him...
but still the same thing.....

i would like to ask something...
now im using wee wee pad to train my kaka to pee and poo on there.
but sometimes he will not pee on there....
eg, per day total he pee 6 times, maybe got 1 or 2 time he will pee on the floor.
why this happens?

and i cant train him poo on wee wee pad, cause every time when i wake up he ald poo...
so what the method i can use?????

For a 3 months old puppy, every 6 times miss 1 or 2 times, your dog is doing great already! Even a 3 months old human baby yet to learn how to go toilet on her own, I would say your puppy is very smart boy. Continue praising while he is doing the right thing will encourage him to aim accurately. Do expect accidents or nottiness sometimes, it is understandable as they are animals anyway.

Also, have you tried changing the pad more frequently or placing 2 pcs of pads instead of one? Some dogs tend to refuse to pee on the pad when it is full or almost full especially those hygienic ones. Believe me most dogs do love to stay clean!

oh..icic..
thx for ur recommendation.
i change the wee wee pad everyday. i think should be no problem.

i think my kaka mix up the anti slip mat with the wee wee pad.
cause past few days, i still using the mat, he keep on pee on there.
but, now i stop using it, c whether the situation will change or nt.
for this 2 days, he oso pee on the right way.
but only for poo, he always poo on the wrong spot.

wanna ask, cause now i havent buy a nail clipper for him.
can i use human nail clipper to cut his nail???

I can't give u the right answer because my kids are both girls xD so honestly what I'm gonna say is based on the readings that I read when I do my research tongue.gif

as far as I know, some dogs will do marking when u bring them outside or play that has others dog's smell or pee xD but there is also some case like yours, mark in the house xD for this, u gotta wait White Palace to help u answer xDD

but for pee with one leg up, I got read before somewhere that say if ur dog start to do marking, some will also start to pee with one leg up smile.gif

Well, it is their instinct to do markings especially grown up adult. They are actually marking territories, it is inside them, so it is difficult to blame them.

To solve the problem, I neutered my male dog and now, he rarely do markings anymore.

hey...wanna ask:
now im training my Kaka to pee and poo on wee wee pad...
so everytime after he pee or poo on the wee wee pad, i will give him snack as treat.

is this correct??
will this make him over weight?
cause i think one day i give him treat for around 10 times.

this is a reward to your dog when he is doing right things. Since this is training period, you should continue to reward him until you feel that he is confirm and know where to pee n poo then you can reduce the treat and praise him by voice or physical touch.
When reward him a treat doesn't mean that you need to feed him a lot...just a bit is enough

This is my adv and you may use it as reference.

I wanted to get yoghurt drops for my baby but the pet shop person said i shouldn't because she's still a puppy (turning 4 months) and she might dowan to eat her usual kibble after that. I bought chew bones as treats for her, but she gets angry when i take it away from her! sad.gif

that's call an aggressive towards food or something like that. Forgot the name xD
When she gets angry and try to show her teeth or try to bite u when u took her treats, toys, food u gotta train her to not do that.
If not later when she getting older, she will really be protective over her stuff. My girl also like that last time. Autumn will try to bite me when I want to take her rawhide bones but white palace help me teach or train her that day so now I can take whatever inside her mouth whenever I want. Last time, I touch the rawhide also cannot -.-""

She won't bare her teeth or growl at me, but she will pee outside her wee wee pad to get back at me! vmad.gif

Other than scolding her / smacking her lightly (she always acts super pitiful after that, but never learn - the next time still do like that), i really dunno what to do already! sad.gif

Pls bear in mind that when you do correction on the pup, you must get in on time, if after 5 second then u should not punish your dog anymore.

As for the toilet train, owner must spend some time / a period of time to monitor them.

We are using home make treat (Prefer soft) as a reward brows.gif
