currently i have this problem.
i have 2 SD crt tv's
one is larger(older) and the other one smaller(newer)
i just bought my xbox 360 last week and i cant seemed to play on my larger tv as the colour are off.
i know you guys would be thinking that it is older but the game shop that i bought from has an older tv and can play from the same console i bought (he demo it for me).
i tried tweaking the colours but it doesn't look the same as the small tv.
so, does anyone know the solution to this problem??

ermm..larger tv usually have component input. have u tried that?

Try switch it to HDTV and use the red green blue cable...did your cable have one?

It could be the cable jack plugged into your TV is loose. I encountered it the very first day I bought my xbox360. It shows more green and no red at all.. Plugging in the cable more firmly solves the problem.

Someone hasn't mention this, is your older TV NTSC compatible? My guess is it can only run on PAL system

but my tv is definitely not hdtv. and i dun see any red green and blue sockets in the tv. yea, i inserted it in full everytime. i dont think my tv has a prob cause all my dvd players, vcd players and astro are working fine with it.

Added on January 17, 2009, 9:30 amit is ntsc compatible. my tv has 2 ntsc modes.
one which it shows these off colours and another one colourless.

nonetheless both tv has auto mode, which explains the problem i'm having now. how come it doesnt work for the bigger tv?

some TV is actually known for problems with HD devices...Mind to share the brannd of the big TV to us?
