but 1 thing i know that xbox360 gpu is much more powerful than ps3 RSX chip.

the gaming industry need to return back to the old cartridge days,since we have solid drives nowadays,by using solid drives manufactures can reduce the cost of a gaming console(less mechanical inside eg.blu ray drive/dvd drive).
