hi c00kie
Oh by the way , you can't use maybank debit card to buy online stuff. Its a big no. For Public Bank Visa and Mastercard debit , its possible. Only some banks allow you to do so. If you want to book , make sure you have enough funds in the debit card. Otherwise it will be rejected. When you book , the card would be pre-charged , meaning that they'll deduct some $$$ , just to confirm that the card hasn't reached its limit For maybank visa debit , you have two ways. You can either use credit/debit method. If you use it as debit method , tell them to use that as a Bankcard (ATM) (not at credit point) , they'll slot it in the machine and then you'll have to enter the pin number. It works like an ATM Card. If you want to work as a 'normal credit card' , just present to them and they'll charge it as how a normal credit card works. Maybank card has one advantage , like certain places whereby they charge additional fees for using credit card , you can simply say this is a bank card (show them) and you'll be only charged 1% extra or no charge at all |

QUOTE(Shah_15 @ Jan 18 2009, 06:22 PM) Yeah , its your ATM Pin Number. Like I've said it works two ways. Usually the merchant will verify but in Malaysia. People keep on eye close ! I think I'll have to move this thread from here , as its not related to Travel at all ! |

Guys don't use credit card use bank direct debit, Even I have credit card i don't use it i'm using maybank2u to book, Air Asia will charged you additional charges. Remember one time their bank direct debit got problem so I had to use credit card and they charged me extra RM10.00 or 20.00 perticket I forgot what they called convenient charges imagine if you buy 5 tickets how much you have to pay extra?.....

http://jetradar.com is the only place I go to search flights now, after consistently finding them to find the best deals. They don't 'promote' any particular airline, but are totally transparent, plus they include the extra fees and taxes that you know you have to pay but many other 'comparison' sites leave off. This is helpful, as you can make a fair assessment of which is the best price.
