Princess Crown is awesome, very impressive for its time and always will be a classic in my book. The original game was release on Sega Saturn, the re-release was for the PSP. If you miss it the first time but have a PSP, pick it up! I clock in more than 40 hours on that game, playing all the story for all characters.
Back to topic. Should be available for US, since it have both a Japanese and English working title. Not sure when is the release date yet, other than it is 2009.
Actually, Muramasa has been previewed many times already. People have been quite optimistic about this time from Marvelous. Just that, let's hope it doesn't pull a Disaster on us.
I'm playing the Japanese version and finished the princes storyline... I took me about 7 hours+. the overall game play is not bad... but there are room for improvements.. IMHO, the story of the game is some kind of cheap stack fairy tales... so it is not important at all. there is no need to wait for English version.

Before you guys buy this game, you should check out Gamespot's message board. Many people already have their hands on it since stores got the disc earlier and are already selling them.
Basically it's a pretty game which is not so much of a game. Most importantly, you have unlimited continue without any backtracking needed. Means if you die, you just get revived where you died with full health power etc. The only time when losing a fight affects your progress is a boss fight. Normal battle will be skipped if you lose them.
The English translation is awful and not complete due to the limits of the text box. Your characters which talk in Japanese go on rambling while the English text stops.
Some 'areas' tend to be repetitive. You'll find yourself going through 10 or so areas which look almost exactly the same. It gets boring and TIRING.
Having fun playing the game now. Halfway through Momohime's story already. Everything is very beautiful, but sometimes too many areas look exactly the same that it feels tiring.
Unlimited continues with no penalty cut out alot of thrill from the game tough. Makes healing items petty useless and I don't mind using up all my special energy cause I can jus die whenever I like.
In that sense it feels very much like an RPG rather than a platformer. Have to level up to defeats enemies in secret areas and bosses. And I'm playing in Shura (Hard) mode.
Im at the map where theres a Locked area . when i press on it It says i need a more powerful demon blade. And ive equipped the highest level blade which i got even FORGE a higher level blade that i can use but still im not able to use to unlock that locked area.
I think the mission is to go to EDO or EDU or something like that. HELP! sad

Barrier's can only be broken by swords gain from bosses. As you advance through the game you will get swords that can break different colored barriers. The white barriers however can only be broken by a sword that you get once you complete the game on both Momohime's and Kisuke's story once on the SAME save file.
Btw, just a personal advice, I suggest you play Kisuke and Momohime at the same pace instead on completing one first then going for the other. Cause when one of your character is powerful with alot of accessories, playing with the other weaker one will be damn tiring.

Hmmm ok.So the barriers can be only be broken by swords gain from bosses. Then now that im stuck i can't break that barrier. What should i do in the same map ? Cos ive been walking left and right up to the end and my char levels up but im still in the same map.zz

When you use the Z button to bring out the large map, you'll see a flag or an exit colored in orange. That shows you where to head next. Also everytime you see the traders, buy all the maps from him. I just think you wondered too far and got lost. I never bought any maps till the last chapter and didn't really get lost.

Wait 'till you play Shirugui mode.

so, anyone forged the oboro muramasa already to view the 3rd ending? i felt lazy to do so...LOL (rather catch a clip at youtube i guess...XD)
ok, i continued, fought a white barrier lair (recommanded lvl 96), i went inside lvl 7X i think (on muso mode)...fought waves of enemies...won (after a terrible and long fight) and obtained an accessory which enables the character use secret arts without losing soul power...makes the game quite easy till this point after having that EQ...haha

why do you need a cheat code to play this game?...i mean if you are playing on shura...it may be slightly more difficult, but...dying doesn't really matter at all...
if you are going for the 1 hit kill mode...then cheating = no sense of accomplishment as well...no difference
it's not AR...it's called ocarina...and i have no idea on how to use it as well...and didn't plan to...XD
