I am!

Maybe you can try out MAS GRADS @ http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/loyal/grads/grads.aspx .

I bought the tix for RM2116 for one way flight to Brisbane from KL. Return flights with validity of one year available too at much cheaper rate. The hassle is to apply the card itself and going to cost you RM25. Compare to normal price fare, you still get it cheaper.

Btw, anyone got ISIC card? Is it useful for students when we in Aussie?

hmm...My friend also taking Mas last feb n can go up to 30kg by fax/email them the documents tht can proof u r student..he not show the student card straight at check in counter...
but i also heard someone at here mentioned the rules already changed..so now mayb different
many ppl advice take a better airline for new student as a good starting experience..tht means u should have nice n enjoyable journey to australia as new student
for me, AAX not rly a bad airline n should b worth for budget airline..i took AAX last month n not bad..just hard to slp but lucky the time past fast..

if got choice,i would go for better airline

Yes, for MAS the rules changed. Either you booked with your student card or MAS GRADS card which we needed to apply fo the student fares whereas last time you just need your Letter of Acceptance then you can purchase the student fares. A little bit hassle but applying the GRADS card sure save you alot of moolah.

I been told that I get 35kg for my luggage needs. I made me reservation through the ticket counter in KL Sentral and posted my application of MAS GRADS card. When I get my card then I will be able to purchase the reserved seats at student fares.

It kinda surprised me that we don't need to place any deposit or whatsoever in order to reserve the tickets from MAS. Heck, I even asked the counter girl twice "Are you sure we don't need to pay a cent in order for us to reserve the seats?" "Are you confirm the slot is available when we receive and show you our GRADS card?" and she said "YES". Oh well, thumbs up for that! rclxm9.gif

One more question, any cheap/cheaper/cheapest medical checkup you guys been around Subang/PJ area? Standard should be RM100 yea? Thanks a bunch.
