I actually ask a few of the unis representatives when I applied for my course. They said that as long as you satisfy the minimum requirements, they will offer you a place if they have a place. Even if there's people who has better results than you will not have extra advantage when it comes to selection process.

Yes...As long as you satisfy the requirements ... But I don't think that they are so strict as well . Just make sure you have the minimum year requirement with passes in English. The course that I'm applying for next year in TAFE needs Year 11 and passes in English . That said , I can do nothing in school now other than English. They go according to your course's requirement and not ''general knowledge'' like in Malaysia.

I'm not taking finance/econs, but a few of my subjects would be from finance/econs cos I'm taking Commerce in University of Adelaide. What would you like to know about the teaching? The library has 3 floors. Plenty of computers and 4 printers altogether. There's a really nice reading room inside, a big quiet study area. They have newly renovated the 3rd floor to be a discussion area.

I can't really comment on how good or bad the lecturers whom are teaching cos it really depends on individuals to judge. But one thing for sure, the tutors are very helpful. They have personal consultation time and I find it very helpful especially when you feel embarrassed to ask a question that you think that other people might have already known. The lecturers are well qualified. Some are authors of the textbooks, PHD holders, etc. The most important thing to survive is to get a good tutor. In the first week of tute, if you feel that you don't like the teaching method of the tutor, ask your friends about their tutor, and you can swap in week 2. After week 3, it's abit hard to do that, unless you have very strong reasons.
