I'll be continuing my Economics & Finance degree - doing my last year in Melbourne. I'll be there for the July intake though.. lol. Your date on the 18th I assume is for this month?

Haha I hope the food is cheap!
There's an old town kopitiam in Melb??
*
FOOD is never cheap. Expect to pay 7 to 10 in suburbs; 10 above in city except some dirty & lausy restaurant.

QUOTE(Saigo @ Feb 16 2009, 12:54 AM)
I can't even cook an egg at all.. but I'm prepared to learn how to cook simple dishes while I'm still here. Have like 4 months to practise anyhow lol.
*
You better learn now in Msia when you have time. smile.gif

No idea; but you can charge the bank for faulty information of product they are offering. So yes; sue the bank for misleading information. : smile.gif

Livin in the city, average a meal i eat is around 10 dollars including drink, food usually 8.5 - 10.5. Drink chinese tea or water la lolz. Well, that's not too bad actually.
*

Food here is really expensive if you try to convert back to RM.
If you don't, then it's still ok.
There's a Rasa Malaysian shop across the street from where I am staying now  hmm.gif

lol... rose garden's famous ciu yim kai pah...

Stalactites is probably the name you'll hear the most if you ask about Greek cuisine, but it's kinda pricey and personally I don't think the food is that great anyway. Then again, I'm no fan of Greek cooking as most of them are "soaked" in tons of olive oil and too spices-heavy for my liking.
You can find food for less than 10AUD in the city lah, not necessarily in dirty, lousy restaurants.

LYN booth in UniMelb hehe... need meh? sweat.gif

ohya rose garden doh.gif forgot abt tat plc tongue.gif

Hi, just wondering anyone here studying or studied in Deakin Melbourne Campus before?? I'm going for my post graduate studies in a few months time. Wondering if it is best to stay in Burwood or other places which are more nearer to the city but far from uni.

Haha sweet link!

Though I probably won't be driving. I don't know what to expect of Melbourne, so I thought having a GPS with maps would come in handy since my handphone has a GPS system built in.. especially since I get lost really easily. >_>

Though if I were to travel around in Australia.. yeah would come in handy. smile.gif

Do anyone from here actually cycle around in Melbourne? I was thinking of getting one, preferably 2nd hand, when I get there..
*
u can rent bike in city & cycle smile.gif unless you want to own one yourself.
