no, you misunderstand.

I'm not asking bout the generalities of the visa. I'm asking specifically to lawl how long his visa took to be approved. because i wanna try to have mine done before jan 1st >_<
*
Doesn't matter what course do you take , It's just general . Usually around 2-3 weeks , You can ask your agent(If you have one) . I don't think that they'll prioritize who starts first , First come first serve I think . You should have applied last month if you're worried about this .

no statements or anything..
not my close fren..n he now at melbourne

*
Hmm , I'll find out more . I know that either will work , But I want to know which saves more time .

Choose one that u can do both at same place. So dun have to go here and there. Btw thung shin is quite cheap. Rm92 for everything.

Yeah, I wanted to go to Tung Shin also but quite far for me and super jam shakehead.gif So opted for Young & Newton instead. Kinda anticipated to go here and there but they said can be done in 1 hour so we'll see tomorrow.. according to them its 110 so not too much difference i guess.

I'm planning to study in Australia and most probably within Sydney. I'm completely new in doing research for education in Australia. I glanced through the universities listed in Sydney especially the fees but I'm still rather clueless.

What could be the most affordable University in Sydney for business degree (finance, econs) yet wouldn't compromise its quality? Recommendation? So far, I suppose it's University of Western Sydney, if I'm not wrong? Is it hard to enter? Idea? Thanks

methinks Macquarie or USyd. UWS should be easy to enter. but depending on which campus u go to (there are 4) transportation might be a hassle

Hey guyz. How is the price of medicine(drugs) in Aus compare to M'sia? Is it cheaper because it is subsidized by the Aus government? Apart from that, is that any way that i can get control drugs in Aus through pharmacist without the prescription from a doctor? Well, wanna save cost. =) Really appreciate if any1 can give me d info.

yup I need a new visa. I've withdrawn from the course. SOMEHOW, my visa is still valid. =.= which is bad. =(
*
How can your visa still be valid?

Assuming that you withdrew from your course before the expiry of your student visa, your student visa will be null and void from the time you cease to be a student in the institution.

BTW, the documentation of the Migration Review Tribunal of Australia(http://www.austlii.edu.au/cgi-bin/sinosrch.cgi?method=all&query=failure+to+meet+course+requirements&meta=%2Fau&mask_path=au%2Fcases%2Fcth%2FMRTA) can be an interesting read. Its amazing what kind of excuses and stories people will come up with when appealing against the cancellation of a student visa.

You might want to consider some other places as well . Not just Sydney . Sydney is a highly populated city , So the fees would still be ''high'' regardless of places as all of them are quite competitive ( UNI ) . You may also want to try Tasmania ? Perth ? Just look around and compare . Recognition wise - It won't differ that much .

Sorry about it but I just want to know what are my choices.

Currently I have a CAT and partial pass in ACCA. I wish to do a normal degree course in accounting.

So does my current qualification enables me any course or I have to start from scratch?

Sorry I havent done any research yet on where I want to study. I'm looking for a general qualification needed to study a degree in australia.

If you just want a general qualification, why dont just opt for Monash Uni.They have base here in Australia.
Why have to spend all your money come here to study but at the end just a general degree & not upgrade you to better job.?

Not really. It depends type of medicine. I've bought a flu medicine (caritine or carinase "spelling might wrong"), it cost 7 times more expensive in Malaysia blush.gif Somemore, they didn't want to sell this medicine to me initially and asked me to try PE (the whole name already forgotten). I told them this medicine doesn't effective but they still didn't want to sell carinase to me vmad.gif So, I had to go to other pharmacy who willing sold carinase to me.

Thank you for the advice. I somehow inclined towards Sydney because of the available accomodation. I might be able to settle within Sydney. I don't know much about Australia but I heard the living expenses is quite expensive in Sydney? Subjectively asking, will it be cheaper for me to afford education in other province + acco + living expenses compared to Sydney's just education + living expenses only?

Anyone can give me some insight in this matter?

Highly appreciated. Thanks!

clarinase is more suitable for hay fever / allergies? Don't think it has decongestant ingredient inside =/ So maybe they had their own reasons not selling it to you. Besides, its not like malaysia where you can go "Oh I want this this this that this that medicine" and WALAH! you get them all. xD

tuition fees arent gona differ much between unis. if u can get free accommodation then y not syd. and yes living expenses in syd is slightly higher than other cities. take asian food. in syd prices are $1-2 higher than melb. public transport sucks as well cos there's no student concession and u will have to pay full fare which is double of what a person with student concession pays.
