Just took delivery the much awaited "Siti"
Will snap some Pics for you guys to view soon but can someone teach how to block the car Reg No first?   icon_question.gif
On the other hand those who have booked PMM and exp Andy no offence.

PMM really look dull and pale. Just like black it will be difficult to maintain. And I think to make it outstanding and look good
you really have to keep the car clean and shine (which I think this is not necessary for the black ones)

Guess What The New City really  thumbup.gif

i jz saw a PMM city jz now
under shaded area... wow
PMM looks nice wub.gif

Hi guys, anyone interested to do the teflone sealant for your new city? There would be a group rate discount, i need to gather 4 more to go.

Details: http://www.shinenshield.com

Just place a small deposit and you could make appointment to do it at a cheaper price. Please contact me soon as I wanna do it before CNY ^^

syncronyzer has done it recently, it's great~

Honda Japan haven't release the new City yet, and MUGEN got their kit for City? Ridiculous.

1. Current warranty period is 36 months, or 3 years.
2. It will reduce rain marks, and makes it easier to clear off water marks by rinsing with water, or normal car shampoo (as compared to a car without PPS, water marks which are left under the sun might be hard to remove)
3. Follow up maintenance is every 6 months, which is about RM100 for our City. That itself takes 3 hours.. they will clay the surface..level the surface.. wash etc.

I am still contemplating between the PPS coating and the Diamondbrite coating... I posted something about Diamondbrite earlier on, its in the V1 thread I think ...

Diamondbrite costs twice as much, but has a warranty period twice as long! So far I've read lots of good reviews on the PPS coating, but my ex-colleague keeps telling me to get Diamondbrite, cos he's very satisfied with it.. No need to polish/wax for 6 yrs apparently.. Just wipe a coat of restorer after every wash, and no need to send back for upkeep every 6 months or so...

http://www.autoworld.com.my/EMZine/Review/...D=RT.ATC.CAR.FS

Anyone tried using these two products before? or maybe someone could google for more info? I've googled and read up here and there as much as I can, but I still cant decide which one to go for.. I'd love to know a bit more of both products before I decide... My ex-colleague is brainwashing me to go for Diamondbrite like everyday man...

Hmm.. But I've read from several forums where people who did Diamonbrite, went for PPS for 2nd coating. The PPS boss Raymond told me the same thing too.. Not sure whether it's true or not lar... hahaha....

For me.. just didn't feel like doing at such a high price.. so went for the cheaper one.. and most reviews in found online is on PPS, not much on Diamondbrite..

Yeah, actually I am more inclined to do PPS, cos 1) i heard diamondbrite's customer service is not that great... Then again, customer service depends on case to case basis, they might have one bad temp employee who ruined their reputation... 2) its cheaper... 3) most importantly, all the reviews on PPS i've read are positive.. Not much to be found on diamondbrite.

But my ex-colleague is poisoning me everyday to do diamondbrite.. I am really wondering if he is getting cash incentive from them for all that effort man.. lol..

sebaver,

Does your friend use Diamondbrite? What is his feedback?

Did some reading too... seems like PPS as you have all mentioned most discussed and rated. O_O.

So far the biggest drawback people mentioned is that if your car has an accident which requires you to respray you will notice the difference. Or is it psychological. Hehe.

Driving on the road, it's unavoidable that small stone chips will chip your car bonnet causing paint chips and scuffings. Particularly so when you are pulled in behind a construction lorry. Serious cases will cause deep scratches to your car that only respray will help repair the damage.

Enter 3M Scotchgard Clear Bra for the car.
Basically it protects your car from stone chips and scuffing. It's a thin invisible film that covers your car bonnet and headlights. It works like how security tinting works for your windshield.

i jz back from 1 utama. there is the new honda city road show. 1 black, 1 pmm with modulo kit, 1 blue and 1 silver but no bold beige.
well, standing there from near to far comparing PMM(my current booked color) with others, i gonna change my color from pmm to blue in the final decision. Yes, for my OWN opinion, pmm indeed looks dull and pale. rclxub.gif

I feel this new honda city significant part is the front grille. well, for the blue from front view, the grille looks nice and contrast with the blue color body. from the side view, the chrome door handle looks damn nice matching with the body color and from the rear view, the red + white rear brake lamp also has nicer color matching (blue + red + white) tongue.gif

Well, for my OWN opinion after viewing all colors,
Black is Cool
PMM is Elegance
Blue is Young and Sporty
Silver is Steady-Going
Bold Beige is Honorable

rclxms.gif thumbup.gif rclxms.gif

oya.. 1 more to mention. those who wish to book now, the waiting period will be around 3 to 4 months and should be getting the car around May. Honda City production is 1500 units/mth
