So far only saw two CITY on the road one ASM and another DLBM.

Anyway guys I got this picture and description from here. Just wanna ask what does rear view mirror with day/night switch means? Kindly explain briefly please? How does it work?  hmm.gif
*
All cars' rear view mirror have that function. If day time, you can switch to your position. At night, to avoid glare, you can switch it to face down.

Yup. I guess after CNY we can launch the club.

Oh yah.. need a name for the club.
Suggestions, guys smile.gif

Hi guys, anyone interested to do the teflone sealant for your new city? There would be a group rate discount, i need to gather 4 more to go.

Details: http://www.shinenshield.com

Just place a small deposit and you could make appointment to do it at a cheaper price. Please contact me soon as I wanna do it before CNY ^^

syncronyzer has done it recently, it's great~

Hi, how much would that be after discount? Do we hv to do regular touch-up ie every 6mth, if so how much would is the touch-up then?

btw, am comparing WinGard Royale and EcoTint, any suggestion please?

Girlfriend sent her car for servicing, so I finally got to see the new City (S spec) at the old klang road showroom today. Didn't take the car out for test drive so impression are based on what I see.

- Driver side legroom is surprisingly ample, in fact I think it is slightly better than the 2008 Corolla
- Dashboard and gearbox plastics are very tacky and cheap looking. My thoughts were it didn't look bad in the photos but up close, the tacky feel is there.
- The cabin up front feels a little cramp compared to the old City and feels similar to the Vios. In this respect, I think the old City feels roomier up front
- Despite having non flat rear floor, the rear passenger legroom is very generous for a car of this caliber. This is definitely superior to the old City and the Vios.
- Seats are comfortable, it's got a springy feel and I like that. However, it's not certain how comfortable the car will feel after a 3 hour road trip. Thigh sore/cramp is one symptom that usually occurs after a long trip, will this car give the same problem?
- Nice black fabric seats.
- Cabin view is about the same as the old City. The rear looks slightly smaller (when you look into the mirror) compared to the old City.
- Bootspace is huge because it sinks deep (hence more depth).
- Bonnet design is thoughtful, it has a long plastic handle that springs it open should a breakdown occur. Driver or mechanics will not accidentally touch hot metal parts and that's good.
- Airduct (plastic) is integrated into the bonnet. The downside is the bonnet is only partially covered with sound/heat insulation material.
- The showroom car has maintenance free battery. Not sure if production vehicle gets the same treatment but this is definitely a good feature.

I'll probably take a test drive one of these days to see how it compares to the old City. Overall, the car has improved in many departments over its predecessor.

Just took delivery the much awaited "Siti"
Will snap some Pics for you guys to view soon but can someone teach how to block the car Reg No first? icon_question.gif

On the other hand those who have booked PMM and exp Andy no offence.

PMM really look dull and pale. Just like black it will be difficult to maintain. And I think to make it outstanding and look good
you really have to keep the car clean and shine (which I think this is not necessary for the black ones)

Guess What The New City really thumbup.gif

Just take photo. Save photo in PC. Use image editor e.g. MS Paint and draw on plate. Save. Upload to internet.

I read that for PTFE to work, you really need to bake it in for it to set otherwise, it will just wash off. The better solution is PPS which is 5 star shine or glassplexin (Magic Glaze).

AFAIK, Magic Glaze is located in sunway while PPS treament, read the following thread for more info.
