Honda Malaysia doesn't carry original MUGEN. They do not have the authorised dealership too. RM4750 is too cheap for original MUGEN by the way.

The loan officer called me just now. MBB Penang rate - 2.6%, 9 yrs, 60k. DONE!!! YAY!!! 2moro going 2 sign the contract.
My SA just dropped by. Asking if I want the original Spoilers (MUGEN) fr Honda. Says after this the price will increase shortly in d future. Now he can offer me RM2.6k for the spoilers (rear, side, front n trunk - with 'H' logo) This is almost half the price B4 discount which was rm4750. Hmm.... Want to add or not, huh???

(1)FM receiver - very very bad
1. anson81 bad receive even in city area
2. dstyx - bad at certain areas (overall not good)

(2)Gear Transmission Not Smooth
1. anson81

(3)Fuel Consumption High (FC)
1. dstyx - city driving 80%, highway 20% (kerinchi link) 380km for RM58 fuel

(4)Air Cond Problem

(5)Interior Assembly Problem
1. dstyx - mount for shade in front (fixed)

(6)Alarm won't trigger at back boot
1. anson81
2. dstyx - clarified with Honda. This is not a problem. It's made like that.

dstyx - i don't think this is their main reason, even a very lousy alarm will trigger when open back boot, we paid 90k+ for this?? i think we should complaint until honda made it for us.
anyone still got other complaints?

Not worth to invest on original Modulo. Use half of that amount to buy replica outside yourself. Keep the rest of the money. smile.gif

No discount for car? If not I think you can still fight for more.

Bro Andy, just now got a forummer posted about the Modulo Kit for RM1.5k, so is it worth enough to get it? And why is it so cheap since it's also ABS quality. How ar?

Its really like this..Civic alarm also similiar..but do note that the alarm will not trigger when you open the boot with the wave blade key. Understand, it has the built in immobiliser so when you open the boot, it will detect if it is original key. thus alarm will not trigger. If use the fabricated one, alarm will trigger.

If not mistaken, camry also like this..

do they show you this??

for what my experience is, they are not connected..... because.... when i wanna take something from the boot, i press the trigger button in my remote first, then i open the boot... after around 30sec, the center lock infront will lock itself, from the manual, it says if we do not open the door after 30sec, the center lock will shut itself after 30sec,
so if the boot got connect to the center lock, it should not be like this right?

Yes, RM1.5k is worth to get. For City replica kits, this is the estimated price, regardless of MUGEN or Modulo.

Well, as for the alarm, this not only limited to City. Starting from previous generation of Accord & Jazz, they've already done this.

Again, I repeat. Honda alarms are made in Japan. They no longer use Cobra alarm or Thailand-made alarm due to cut-costing way and complaints. Alarm will not trigger if:
1. Open your car door using your key.
2. Open your car boot using your key.

I've inquired Honda on this matter when I got my new CR-V. They said the alarm is directly connected to ECU. There's no way to change volume of the alarm. And most importantly, there's no way to connect your horn to your alarm.

But it'll cost somemore for installation costs. And before you buy, make sure that it doesn't require any drilling.
The original or good imitation ones do not require any drilling..

Anybody have any review on which is the best material for bodykits? Some say ABS, some say PP and some says FRP..

I would say PU is the best. FRP is better than fiber. ABS is the highest grade, but fragile.

My SA offered me RM2100 for Modulo Kit. He claimed that the quality is ABS and it has 90% same like the Modulo Kit that Honda offered. If Mudah offered the same things as my SA offered me, why i need to spend RM2100 instead of RM1500 sweat.gif

Please advice icon_question.gif

What about PP?
I heard alot of expensive bodykits are made with ABS and PP
Read somewhere the M3 bodykits are made with PP.
For RM1,800 (which includes paint and installation).. if it's that good, i wouldnt mind

Indeed. Can your SA tell you what's the 10% diff?
Looks can be the same..but quality, that's a diff thing.
I think everything can look the same..except no Modulo badge (which can be made)..hehe

Didn't the gahmen already announce they plan to cut more interest?
For those who can wait, I won't be surprised if it drops to 2.3% or less soon.
