yea, cos basically, what security tints do is to hold the entire piece of glass together and is therefore a lot more difficult to shatter...

For everyone's info about Captor, 3 systems are available : Captor RF, Captor GPS and Captor RF/GPS/GSM

Price :
Captor RF - RM2100 (inclusive of 1st year annual fee of RM150) subsequent year : RM150
Captor GPS - RM 2500, monthly fee of RM48 (viewing only) or RM98 (printable reports)
Captor RF/GPS/GSM - RM4000, monthly fee of RM48 (viewing only) or RM98 (printable reports)

For more info, visit the HQ's website at : www.netstar.com.my  icon_rolleyes.gif

When you're there at the site, click on 'Partners' and check to see if your car insurance company has offers.  thumbup.gif

AAM also have something like captor, named Smart tracker.

AAM Smart Tracker - RM1728 ( GPS ) ( annual fee RM270).

There are few pros and cons of GPS, GSM and RF, but if have money, can take the Captor RF/GPS/GSM.

GSM gives u a pinpoint accuracy but depending on telco signal
RF gives better coverage but not pin point accuracy, (need a ground patrol with homing devices)
GPS? according to AAM brochure, 5 meter accuracy, but haven't read about GPS signal coverage.

Wow. Haven't visited the forums the past few days.
Just got back from my holidays a couple days ago.
Drove my City yesterday and today and clocked about 200+ kms.
So far so good. Only thing is my front bumper has a 'little scuff marks'
Not sure how it got there 'cos I never 'touched' or 'hit' anything. Maybe can polish off. Will try later.

About the "PPS", anyone can explain how many brand are available out there? and how much?

About the GPS security, anyone can explain too??

Thanks for the info. Front/rear raybarrier & sides "hydrid 4" will be a good choice then.

If you wish your car to run on 'manual' mode. smile.gif
You can use it anytime you want - highway, trunk roads or during overtaking.

If you're completely stop, it'll reset to 1st gear.
Yes, other than that, you've to manually shift it.

Saw 1 ASM and it happens that we're going to the same place therefore I had around 20 minutes to observe.

First of all IMO the color doesn't really stand out. Secondly I agree with zweimmk that the car is a bit wobbly like wiggling but the speed of the car is around 100 ~ 110 km/h only. I mean it doesn't look rock solid and stable somehow WAJA look more solid and stable.

Third thing is it looks nice from the front but the rear is rather small in width (didn't felt this in showroom). Again if compare with WAJA somehow WAJA look bigger in width don't know because of the design or what.

Fourth comparison is between BMW 3 series and NHC. I saw them side by side from rear view and it's 90% the same while BMW 3 series having more elegant and soft designed lines and NHC is rather hard and sharp designed lines.

Guys please don't flame me or pinpointing about WAJA I'm just simply taking a car as an example no offence.
W.ROOK, how much is the T-Rex again? I had just watch the video it seems reliable my only comment is the LCD display and the sound is rather childish alike like gaming sound  doh.gif I'm not sure how loud is the 120db sound though but it certainly doesn't sound like an alarm.

Price? Will find out soon but info from other threads says it is around RM699.

Car wobbles at 100? You must test drive to make such statement.

I finally saw the bold beige metallic color and I must say that the color looks far nicer than the pics posted here. The color actually acentuates the lines of the City very nicely without looking very ah pek. I like it.

I'm not sure woh, bro. Never tint my car before in BP. If I'm not mistaken, that's a newly-opened branch. hmm.gif

If I may recommend, laugh.gif U can try the shop opposite of BP traffic police station. Besides Alpha electronics. That shop only do tinting, not accessories. It carries Riken brand. The boss does all the works (1 person) so it takes about 3-4 hours to complete a whole car but the result is superb.
