My vote for Edifier and Logitech!!

Tried C3 and currently using Z-2300, which both doesn't disappointed me when comparing Price and Performance =)

I have a set. Now sitting on my shelf due to noise constraints.

Lovely speakers with very specific positioning requirements. A lot of position tweaking is required before you'll get the best sound out of them, but once you do you won't really regret the 1.8k ringgit you plonked on them, yeah they're that good.

If I still lived alone I'd run these babies all the time, but now it's back to the DAC-1 USB and HD-650 combo.

Hey guys! My altec lansing VS4121(lasted me for 5 years already) is pretty much going to die anytime soon so im thinking of getting a new speaker.. I was wondering what speakers would you all recommend best bang for buck.. Budget less than RM800 2.1 System.

Altec Lensing was the best back in my days. But now I'm using DA5000 from Edifier and loving every bit of it. 3 years and still running good.

i got Logitech X-520 5.1 speaker, bought in 2005. never disappointed with it

Edifier S730, the best I've ever used. 2 yrs plus still rock solid.

Altec Lansing ADA885 , with THX .. old but still perform quite well

Yup... Only if you heard the custom cable verison by Stratos... F**king awesome dude... I never regret I get this speaker. Best bang for buck at their level. Harmon Kardon can perform better in music, however, lost in game and movie... If someone ask me which speaker they should pick for RM 700, definitely Corsair SP 2500. Can you hear me? it's SP 2500. Doom2 and clarity all in one speaker.

Err.. u mean X-540 5.1? Got 1 set here too, bought on 2006 and still kicking til now.. Also combined with the Xonar DX help the sound improvement very much.. Nice bass output from the tiny sub.. haha
A nice 5.1 speaker for a tiny room like mine, and more imprtantly, the neigbours are very pleased.. hehe
