Yeap. Very few 2.1 speakers can outperform ATP3 at that price.

im using a MX5021 AL
not bad... but the details is not very good... sound quality is above average but not great
saving money to mod this speaker next time... change all op-amps and mount higher capacity caps...

i used altec lansing 45.1 -----> mx5021 (2 sets) ----> creative s750 + 5700 decoder..... but i'm still prefer mx5021..... now still 1 set at my shop... tongue.gif

I have both the ATP3 and the VS4121. sad to say.. VS4121 cannot reproduce the sound of my ATP3.
ATP3 is so good........I'm also quite afraid to find a replacement if it runs out of gas. (Been using since... 2005)

no doubt....ATP3 2.1 this model really rocks....in bass and sound quality
sad to heard that...everytime i go see altec lansing speaker...non of it model can pair with ATP3 sad.gif

for me other than Altec Lansing, Harman Kardon & Creative is a crap multimedia speaker. Most of them only looks sweet, but sounds shit.

the old Altec Lansing is good, undoubtly; undeniable... but today's Altec Lansing, all i can say is... crappy, seriously...!
