In your handphone those is A-GPS, you cant change it to GPS.

Menu>Tools>Settings>General>Positioning>Positioning Methods>UNTICK Assisted GPS

He want to disable the Network (example DiGi, Maxis) assist,

your way is to disable the A-GPS.

I think only charge 2 sen when everytime open, then you will lock on and no need charge already.

Its save your time and let you know your current location before success lock on.

Disable all use built in GPS only (enable this only), no chrges will involved at all, only can use on Garmin XT not the built in Nokia Maps...

i see i see....so if just on wifi but not gps...battery should b wont drain so fast rite?

When he type sms, everything is fine.
But after he press # to change the input mode, when he move the cursor, the cursor is not only move but highlight the words wherever the cursor move (just like when you wanna copy something). Kind of strange.

Normally when we wanna highlight words, we need to move the cursor while pressing continuously the # key, but for his case, after he press the # key (not continuously hold it down) to change the input mode, when he move the cursor, the cursor will highlight wherever it moves.

Anyone has such issues?

You can turn it off. Try auto rotate on 5800 more annoying move abit rotate edi

i will upgrade to latest firmware later, now cannot cos left last cell battery, gonna charge 8 hours when i sleep, so tomorrow i will have fully 'arse' kicking n82..just tried quake 2 on n82, superb quality with FSAA..unbelievable

you see, first time usage, even though the battery are full, you will need to over-charge the phone's battery for the first time, to make sure the battery cell become active or something like that, it helps prolong the lifespan of the battery..

Honestly no need charge 8 hrs. Safe to be sorry what if you overcharge it then it melt the battery i have seen ppl go back to the shop warranty because overheat.

When its full the phone will autocut charging
You unplug and plug it back it will still say battery FULL.
