this morning used the GPS with Garmin to go somewhere I never know before, so it's considred the first time to use the GPS seriously, very satisfied with it, the weaker GPS module inside N82 isn't a problem as it always can use EDGE/3G to connect to AGPS server
and yes... how to increase the volume of the Garmin voice ? press the side up button like no response |

QUOTE(Eve2211 @ Jan 18 2009, 05:22 PM) Then try to turn on AGPS for a while, once you've locked the satellite position, turn AGPS off cuz it'll cost you a bit. AGPS is only used to help the N82 to lock upon the satellites, once it's locked on, the rest is just between the GPS and the satellitesthe "abit" u mentioned is just a few cents, which is of no point to even want to save that kind of money |

N82 in general has much lesseeeeeeeeeeeer issues that 5800 XM. It has sturdy lens cover, it's almost impossible to accidentally slide open the lens unlike N79, the battery cover is also solid as rock
the downsides are it's lack of an LED flash, small buttons, slightly bulkier, and weaker GPS receiver (but with A-GPS, it's no longer a problem] |
