It's normal for the device display to blank during the update.
It's normal for some PC Suite versions to display "Nokia N82 (RM-313) disconnected" as the update begins.
!!! Do not disconnect the cable or switch off the phone. Disconnnecting the cable will cause severe damage to your phone and it may stop working.

yeah updating can make your battery reduced fast..
so.. be careful when update firmware..
it can make trouble

my 1 failed during downloading updates.. i just plug in the charger cable and let it run...
