and lucas if u want to recommend apps u give me the links

go to settings>general>positioning>position methods

make sure assisted gps is only one ticked

for server choose access point u need and server address supl.nokia.com

if u can't get a location with those settings in Maps then its faulty

thats for Nokia Maps but for Garmin there may be some additional settings on Garmin try these first tho

u sure u in a clear area free of obstructions

yes even clear of tall buildings hehe if possible cos just outside my apartment block also won't work

prob yr dad n95 GPS settings not correct?

if u turn off A-Gps does it work?
