Even though Citigroup posted another great 4Q lost...

But the news that they gonna separate their banking business actually brings back the confidence. It is seen as a move to correct the wrong...besides, they juz got another 20billion fr Fed

Some of those losses already been priced in.
BAC got $20B+ from govt.. and US govt doesn't want them to fail.

Investors still do not like it yet. because their balance sheet sucks!

BAC may be a BUY at this price: $7.5 to $8.0
Next Monday, Wall Street closes for holiday.. on Tuesday, Obama becomes President, so we may have a inauguration day
rally on Tuesday.  rclxms.gif

He is buying the shares at open market last week, i am not surprised if he's buying more this week.

I am suspecting there might be something cooking.

The way they talk about how resilient is our economy & how fundamentally sound it is TOTALLY CONTRADICTED with their action yesterday to cut rate at 0.75%

Well...on the positive side...their drastic move now might be able to help the economy earlier, rather than waiting for it to go down the drain then only make a big cut
