for my case...actually my father used to be an electrician...doing wiring etc.....so fr his xperience....he ORDER me to buy only panasonic washing machine, kettle, air con, fan...... fan kdk also can as he told me it's OEM fr pana....
he told me he prefer to ask his customers to use panasonic as well since he lazy everytime ppl use capalang or other brands...then got prob he need to give 'after sales service' hahahahha

for other stuff like tv, hi-fi etc....which ppl might change occasionally....he dun bother la
