i have the same laptop also... mine is rusted even more than that.... mine is rusted on both speakers... dat sux...
also my dvd rom doesn't work anymore... everytime i try to watch dvd or run any type of cd or DVD with it, it keeps ejecting the disc out...

i managed to remove the speaker fan grill after got some gut and my lappy giving heat problem..lulz...warranty over...giving prob oledi

of course oke can remove rust but beter u drink it than waste it..lol
chrome just nice but lot of hard work to do..plus theres a lot of small hole n its not easy to make dat part chrome..otherwise u can "celup" chrome..

i wanna put "plastisin" inside to cover the holes...

anyone know how to light up the led under the speaker grill??wanna put blue led under the grill

if i solder LED input via usb joint..5V + -, USB still can use or not for thumbdrive data read and write??
