'Happy Shaolin Legend'

'Happy Shaolin Legend', presented by Numina Gem Sdn. Bhd., organized by J-Link Management Sdn. Bhd., and produced by Shaolin Temple & Shaolin Temple Culture Communications (Dengfeng) Co,. Ltd, will be staged at Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands from 27 January 2009 until 2 February 2009 (2nd day of Lunar Chinese New Year to 8th day of Lunar Chinese New Year). The show is not just an ordinary martial art performance; but a professionally choreographed theatrical performance by well known Director Zhan Xiaonan (also the Director of Thousand-Hand Bodhisattva), which will be appreciated by all levels of the society.

Besides promoting Chinese culture and Chinese martial art, 'Happy Shaolin Legend' also helps to boost local tourism and make it one of the most prestigious events during 2009 Chinese New Year in Malaysia. The media coverage which includes Astro – the official TV station and other major newspapers will further serve to promote this meaningful event as well as our country, Malaysia as a living heritage with its rich mix of diverse cultures, festivals and religious celebrations.
'Happy Shaolin Legend' has full support from the Ministry of Tourism and endorsed by the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board. The Kuala Lumpur Tourism Action Council will also be listing the event in the Calendar of Events for Kuala Lumpur and in their official website, www.kualalumpur.gov.my as one of their tourism international activities during Chinese New Year of 2009.
'Happy Shaolin Legend' show tickets are priced at RM68, RM48 and RM28. There will be 2 shows every day, at 3pm and 8pm. All ASTRO subscribers are entitled for 25% discount upon presenting the latest Astro statement at any Genting sales and ticketing office.
