sorry for resurrecting your own post. I went to a chiro and the doctor said i need 36 session to adjust my neck. Based on the X-Ray, my neck is bending forward which mean they need to adjust it backward to gain the 'C-shape'. But the question is, does it really need up to 36 sessions? It is something like 3 times a week.

wow. 3 times a week seems a lot! have you seek second opinion? my chiro back in nz had also requested me to have adjustment like 3 times a week at the beginning for my backache but subsequently reduced to once a week.

adjustment in malaysia is very expensive compare to nz (without the currency exchange) and the people there usually get adjustment many times a week.

did the chiro offer you a package for the 36 treatments?

the plan was

first 2 month: 3 times a week = 24 times
3rd month: 2 times a week = 8 times
4th month once a week = 4 times

total 36

Asking me to sign a package of 40 times for RM3,400

i am looking for second opinion, maybe discover chiropractic at SS2

wow. looks like ur neck condition is pretty serious. when i did the calculation for one session from the package price, it's quite reasonable. how much does this chiro charge for single session in the first place? i have seen nowadays many chiro are charging a lot for one session.

1 session is rm100, taking package is cheaper. The chiro said it is consider serious. But honestly I don't feel anything now, not painful nothing. Just stiffness sometime

very cheap since i have seen some single session = rm180. may i know where is this chiro? if it's serious, then i'd suggest you to get the second opinion soon. i believe you would see improvement to your neck after the adjustment.

good luck.

If you have time to spare, go to IMU Community Centre in S.Park Desa Petaling. It is RM 45.00 not inclusive GST. Tell them it is your first time, they have to ask alot of question. Bring your Xray.

Ask to see Dr Quin Pee, you may think she's has little experience. I find her very good in fixing neck. (I can tell you by experience cos I have been treated by many chiros) Usually I go get cracked by her like once a month or so (pain management). Bonus: She's cute  thumbsup.gif .

since you mentioned Dr Quin Pee is good, i may give her a go. i once went to imu main campus at bukit jalil and i didn't like the assigned chiro. for some reasons he only wanted to focus on my complaint area and skipped my other body parts. and it was rm100!

are the chiro students doing their practical at desa petaling centre?
