Hello everyone,

Need some advice here. I just got myself a 2nd DS lite and while charging there some annoying buzzing sound from the charger...
Anyone experience this before... or any sifu can advice

i've got the same issue too. i don't think there's any problem as i've been using it for about 1 and a half years and nothing bad has ever happened.

the buzzing sound is due to the step-down transformer in yr adaptor is vibrating emitting high frequency sound.

i think there is no harm. if you want you could open up yr adaptor and secure/tighten the little transformer in place. you can choice to replace it about rm15-25.

Please stop using the Charger.

Get a new one.

I am not sure what is the problem,
but continue using the buzzing Charger could fry your NDS.

Well, I nearly fried my XBOX 360 because I am using a lousy Step Down Converter,
same thing happen - buzzing sound, then later console switched off, Power Brick burnt.

Checked with local game shop,
most probably unstable Tenaga National power supply has damaged the lousy Step Down Converter,
then the Step Down Converter kill my Power Brick.

use power regulator to solve unstable power supply

Pls get a decent Power Regulator / Stabilizer.

I wouldn't risk killing my Wii / XBOX 360 with Tenaga National louzy power supply.
