Races
Gon - The Gon are the exact opposite of the adorable little Lyn. The Gon are massive beings. Their size is a symbol of strength and power in the world of Blade and Soul. They are built with sculpted muscle and subtle elegance. Their extraordinary height allows them to tower over the other races, striking fear and intimidation into any who may oppose them. The Gon represent the spirit of earth: strong, proud, and steadfast. In ancient times, however, they were easily manipulated by evil forces. It is said that the Gon were born of dragon's breath and that they carry the curse laid upon the dragons themselves by the gods. The Gon have taken this curse as their fate and now travel the world trying to assist those in need, hoping that someday their curse will be lifted by the gods.

Jin - The Jin are the closest to what we perceive as normal. But don't let their appearance fool you. The Jin's spirit is far superior to that of the other races, and thus they are far from normal. The Jin have the capability to master anything they put their minds to and will stop at nothing to complete a task. Their determination is clearly without equal. This gives them great advantages when training in the combat arts of Kung-Fu and Blade Mastery. The Jin are very open-minded and strongly inclined to justice; thus, they spend their days assisting others, helping them deal with their hardships and miseries.

Kun - The Kun are what elegance, beauty, and grace are made of. This race consists of only women and are believed to have embodied the strength of the phoenix. Their beauty is so striking that they are sometimes mistaken for goddesses that have descended from the heavens, and thus the name "Kun" was given, meaning "Sky." They are very in tune with nature and have a love for the arts and entertain themselves with music and poetry. They are what every male dreams about: irresistible beauty and grace.

Class
Kung Fu Master - Kung-Fu Masters utilize their own fists and feet to defeat their enemies. Most of the Kung-Fu Master's attacks are delivered in combos for fast and very effective melee ranged blows. With such quick reflexes, Kung-Fu Masters can attack and defend with ease, able to react to even the most dire situation as quickly as possible. They have absolutely no problem taking the advantage over their enemies during battle with such speed. Their defense and offense abilities are very fluid like water. With a variety of combos, it really takes a lot of practice to use them efficiently.
Kung-Fu Masters have a defensive stance for more survivability. While using this defensive stance, they can still attack fairly quickly. They can also take advantage of their enemies' weaknesses to quickly sustain them or to deliver deadly combo attacks.
Force Master - Force Masters use their inner Chi to deliver a variety of devastating blows to their enemies. They accomplish such casting using the Ki-Gong-Pe, a Chi bracelet they wear around their wrist. They can shoot off many different forms of abilities, ranging from fire explosions to chi leeching techniques that deliver unavoidable attacks and grabs. Force Masters are the masters of control, and they can apply movement impairing effects to multiple enemies, allowing them to take on more than one foe at a time. Force Masters are closest to the wizards and magi of traditional RPGs. They can utilize powerful elemental attacks from a distance, but they have low HP.
Force Masters play quite differently from the other classes in Blade & Soul. Force Masters' systematic combos don't chain very high like the other classes in Blade & Soul. Their patterns of utilizing skills are fairly simple compared to the other classes. This places them in the "easy to control" group of classes. However, keep in mind that their lack of defense and low health make up for their ease of control. Force Masters have to be aware at all times. If they aren't, then they will find themselves dead within a matter of seconds.
Destroyer - The Destroyers' power comes from their immense physical strength. They wield large axes to deliver fatal blows to their enemy targets. They also enjoy taking advantage of their winning situations, grabbing enemy corpses and tossing them at other foes. Destroyers have great defense, which makes dealing with melee attackers and multiple enemies at once much easier. Destroyer bodies were trained to withstand even the harshest attack; they often become the strong root of their allies.
Destroyers are the classic short distance, slow, and heavy hitting fighters. Almost all of their skills are offensive and contain splash damage. With such a powerful and gargantuan weapons, the Destroyers excel at fighting multiple mobs at once. In fact, they are currently the best AoE damaging class currently in the game.
Blade Master - This class specializes in sword combat to deliver a variety of attacks. Using their sword, they utilize skills like the "Batto Jutsu" technique to attack or defend against their enemies. Blade Masters are quite good at parrying their enemies' blows, leaving them vulnerable to effective counter attacks. They don't always rely on close combat to bring their enemies down. They can use a flying sword technique that will harm their enemies from afar.
The Blade Master is a "Warrior" class. But instead of face tanking like Destroyers, Blade Masters avoid damage by evading or parrying enemy attacks. The Blade Master then responds by attacking his/her opponents' weak points. Blade Masters use the Sword Chi to block or evade melee attacks, or they can also go on the offensive and thrust their opponents with great force.
Assasin - The Assassin class makes up the fifth spot in the line up of revealed Blade & Soul classes. As its name implies, the Assassins excel at deception and lethal combat. Their weapon of choice is the short sword or dagger, but a true assassin is never without an arsenal. Armed with a multitude of explosives and traps, these precise and agile fighters can either kill quickly or escape a dire situation. The Assassin also masters the element of surprise, immediately taking control of a battle before the opponent even knows it had begun by deftly slipping in and out of the shadows. However, Assassins do not simply ignore their allies. Skills drenched in the art of subterfuge allow an Assassin to protect as well as destroy.
Summoner - It has been confirmed according to the news but the information is yet to be known for this class.
