You can then track the item using Aussie post website.
I always ask for insurance and customs code when buying, then use USPS to track. If the package never say leaving US, then it's the "honest" USPS (trust me, twice already US post tracking say package received then no follow up, no notification that it left US. All other packages I buy have notification that package left US from so-and-so airport at mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm).
I always call post office and kastam to check when a pacakge never arrive on time wan. Usually if package is there kastam will tell what time it clear. Or else they say never arrive yet.
