this already a common problem for 5800...sent it to nokia care center to repair...took less than 2 hour to repair...

nope...you should go check this with the nokia care center...locations are provided on the 1st page...

same problem here...but instead of purple, mine changes to green, red, blue, purple and the wost is black....nothing on the screen at all..

i googled the problem and it seems that its a very common problem for the 5800....will be going to nokia tomorrow and see if i can get it fixed..

Today i brought my 2 red tubes to Plaza Berjaya to fix my ear piece problem.
don't go to the 1st floor Nokia Care centre, they will tell you to leave the phone for 2 days.
I went to the 13th floor and they fix my 2 tubes within the same day. wonderful service.

FYI
when i bought my 2 red tubes, i had SP on both of them. the SP i covers the proximity sensor and front camera.
1 of my tube does not have the proximity problem with SP on top of the sensor.

BUT my other tube has that problem. whenever i press call, the screen turns black. so i lift the SP and it became normal.
so i have no choice but to manually cut the section where the proximity sensor is. now my SP looks cacat.

After return from NCC, both my tube have no more earpiece problem. wonderful service from 13th floor NCC.

p.s look for Diana if you want to collect your phone within the same day.

Yup, that's an alignment problem. But you easily fix it yourself using the screen calibrator under the Tools --> Utils menu. Guess they just want to do extra service

I've just downloaded few songs, luckily the seller do the registration for me 
But all i can say it's not worth it since not only choices of songs to download are pathetic, it's all in mono   

guys, is it possible to off the sound for the msn messenger, because i often to use msn during class, so i need to off the sound, when my msn friend msg me so my lecturer wont know im "msning"
